Eirian Asurn

It had been a fortnight since the man last saw such promising lands, despite the minor drawback. Steel lungs inhaled deeply while calculating orange orbs surveyed the new world around himself. Crimson sand parting in the wake of Eirian's sharpened claws as they shredded the sediment below in a thoughtful manor until only tiny grooves would remain to be evidence the Asurn had passed through. He could smell their putrid half breed scents everywhere. How the stench burned within his nostrils with the raw power of an un-tamable fire. Unholy abominations to his heritage for intermingling bloodlines of the Timber with the likes of them. Arctic, Mackenzie, any species that was not pure Eastern Timber. Death should have claimed their souls for such crimes to wolf kind, but in due time their cards would be dealt. As the dealer of fates Eirian would see to it. But for now the mutts were shown mercy, allowed the home field advantage.

Lifting his head to its rightful position high and proud above muscled shoulders, sturdy limbs propelled forward to stride confidently through the expanse of red ferns unlike any he had seen before. Roughened pads striking hard and fast upon the softened forest soil during his flight until a tantalizing scent brought all motion to a halt. Narrowing lids partially, a faint glint could be seen in their depths. Skull lowering down to hover his snout above a set of recently disturbed ferns dusted in sand not of his own pelt, facial muscles pulled back leathery lips into a sinister smirk. An aroma this intoxicating meant only one thing; Asurn, and a duo at that. Eirian was not alone in this new world, it seemed. A delectable growl sounded in the capacity of his chest like thunder during a rainstorm. But, he would find them later. He was on a mission.

Picking up speed once more creamy limbs blazed across the earth with determination. Sunset was fast approaching as shades of pink and orange crept across the clear sky above and a temporary rendezvous point was yet to be discovered. Nothing more for the mission at hand could be accomplished until food, water, and rest were to be had. Once morning's first light broke, then the real work could begin.
