It was in October of 2014 that Vespertio first came to Relic Lore, and from nothing he would build a longstanding legacy that is likely to last for years more. He founded Fallen Tree Cove atop the mountain, which thrived until the great exodus in 2019 when the packs of Relic Lore were forced out by droves of coyotes. His children returned to reclaim their place alongside Lost Lake, Aleister Vuesain founding the successor Sanguine Cove and keeping the bloodline strong.

Notable Facts

• The Vuesains are known for adhering to the larger end of the Great Plains size scale, though smaller individuals are not rare.
• Typically have gold or brown eyes with the recessive gene for green popping up occasionally .
• While not originally a part of the bloodline, heterochromia was introduced through Namid Macieo and passed on heartily by Aleister. It is now considered a marker of the Vuesain family.
• Mostly lawful by nature, with equal parts evil and good.
• Vuesains are responsible for the founding of Fallen Tree Cove and Sanguine Cove.
• Vuesains today can be found in Sanguine Cove and Dead Empress Backwater.

The First Generation of Vuesains

This is the first and only known litter born to Ciphris Vuesain and Exona Thierry of the Scarlet Crescent pack. While Vespertio was the only to come to Relic Lore, he had many siblings. Their names were Baryn, Cedric, Keena, Marrok, and Valfred.

Vespertio Vuesain

Born to his parents Ciphris Vuesain and Exona Thierry, whom had been blessed with a large litter consisting of Baryn and Keena, Cedric and Marrok, Valfred and himself, he happened to be born the runt acquiring a more medium size from his Great Plains heritage. This difference in size between the siblings caused little Vesper to be hazed for it and always found himself being the prime target for whatever pranks they would come up with. He is a devilishly handsome male, though, that sports an equally handsome pelt. The majority of his fur is a soft shade of cream and beige while his back, tail and majority of his face mask consist of black tipped guard hairs aside from some red points along his muzzle and ears. He also has a set of eyes that border along the lines of a liquid golden yellow in coloration. Eventually, the youngest Vuesain was forced out of the pack where he later came to find the pack Fallen Tree Cove alongside his ex-lover Athena Moon, residing presently as lead male.

	Athena Moon (Ex-Lover to Vespertio)
	Third born to Zeus and Penelope, Athena was born into a small family pack, consisting of her mother and father being the alphas and other wolves. Her siblings and her were the first litter. Athena was the runt, but her mother loved her dearly and the other pups sometimes viewed her as mommy's little angel. Although, her mother loved her, her father despised her. When Athena turned one, her father took her on a hunting trip with only her. He acted like he wanted to teach her some hunting skills, but that wasn't the case. He ended up leaving her out in the wildness alone and wounded. He had attacked her when she was going for prey. He broke her leg and gave her a nasty beating overall. This gave her a couple of scars, mainly on her side and flanks. She now walks with a slight limp since recovering from the broken leg, but you have to watch her very carefully to notice this. She enter the Lore in 2011, making her the first of her family to reside in the greats lands of Relic Lore. Athena quickly banded together with Rhysis and Naira to help them create the pack, Poison Path, which she eventually took over as leader when the two disappeared in the night.
	Namid Vuesain (Mate to Vespertio)
	Namid was born on a Cheyenne reservation to a loving mother named Lona and a rather mysterious but smitten father named Caelyn Macieo. She was born to a litter of four counting herself, with an older sister named Neha, and two older brothers named Veho and Ooljee. She is an average built canine wher her head reaches about hip high to a human and she has a rather medium length pelt. Mostly silver coated, though mixed artfully into it is varying shades of darker grey, creams, and whites. Over her maw is a white mask and while her left eye is a rich chocolate brown her right eye is a glacial blue. She was the only one of her siblings to inherit the trait of mismatched eyes from her mother.

The Second Generation of Vuesains

These members of the Vuesain family were born and raised within Fallen Tree Cove along the shores of Lost Lake under the protection of Vespertio and Namid Vuesain.

Vespertio and Namid's First Litter (2015)

	Neha Vuesain
	As a puppy, her downy fur takes on a fluffy light grayish cream in color, lightening up along her legs. A more cream hue crowns her head and melts into her darker toned muzzle. Black markings dot her brows and trail like tear drops down to the corners of her lips. She will gain the characteristic puppy blue eyes as a youngster, but as she grows they will change into a rich pigmented chocolate brown. At adult hood she will be small in build, lithe, long, and built for speed. Her fur will lighten up to the gentle cream of her mother's, lightening up even further down her long legs like socks. Along her neck, shoulders, and back will be a mix of grays, reds, and darker shades of cream in the traditional agouti pattern. Light gray crowns her head and is now met by her family's characteristic white mask. The tear drop markings have faded, leaving behind only black brow dots.
	Aleister Vuesain
	Taking after his father the second born child is just as devilishly handsome as the sire who fathered him. Adorned with a darker form of the traditional agouti pelt coloration, splashes of cream line parts of his chest and coat his entire limbs. On his head is a dark mask with whited out lips and lower cheeks. At first glance, Aleister comes across as dainty and demure compared to his rambunctious brother, Cernan, but deep within the borrowed pools of his parents eyes; to form a mismatched pair of his own consisting of gold and blue, there is a certain calculating gleam. Watch him for a while and you’ll notice he’s often dominating his taller brother with impressive moves while rough-housing. Aleister is not as vocal as his litter-mates, preferring to use his weight rather than words to make his point when possible, but when his lips do form them he leaves you near speechless by how intellectual he is. This son is always planning, always brooding, always thinking in his mind though never leads on to his thoughts to others until its too late. Thus he is called the quiet storm.
	Cernan Vuesain
	Despite being the last born of the litter, it is evident that Cernan is the largest of the pups. He is considered to be a bit of a 'chunk' and earns himself more baby fat than the rest of his siblings. The base of his pelt is a cream in color, though it could even be considered beige. A bit of grey overlaps the cream along the entirety of his body, with a small bit of red going along his back. Starting at his ruff a light burnt orange pigment takes place, moving itself up his neck and over his ears and quite a bit of his face. A faint grey mask going around his eyes can be seen, before meshing with the red that covers the rest of his maw. As a pup, his eyes will have the characteristic blue color, but as he ages they will slowly go to form the intense gold that his father's gaze possesses. When he is grown he will take full advantage of his great plains wolf side of his heritage, growing large and bulky. His coloration is an in between of his parents, not to light like his mother but not too dark like his father.

	Ismena Vuesain
	Though an oddity at first glance, Ismena is actually a rather mesmerizing wolf. Blessed with eyes likened to her mothers, the fae claims irises that differentiate in color. The left being a wonderful bright yellow, whist the right a hazel-like blue, though she wasn't graced with the best eyesight out of the latter. Baring a dark agouti pelt, her overall look comes together quite nicely. She'll grow to be on the smaller side of large, and remain rather lean throughout her life.
	Lunette Vuesain
	Lunette is a dainty, graceful girl, with a coat of the finest silver. A pale, off-white tone marks her lips, ears, eyes, chest, and belly. Her eyes are expressive, and a rich chocolate brown in hue.

	Draven Leigh (Ex-Mate to Neha)
	Draven is mainly black-furred with streaks of brown and dark grey through his pelt. His eyes are a soft fern green in color though he mostly holds his gaze at the ground and one rarely gets a good glimpse of them. Eventually he will grow into a frame that barely passes as large but rather lean and long rather than bulky and compact. However, despite his lean frame Draven is very muscular beneath his thick raven pelt and is much stronger than he may initially appear.
	Mavis Kipley (Ex-Lover to Aleister)
	Because of her small stature, and the fact that she grew up in a mostly-male-dominated society, Kip acts tough and standoffish, in order to make up for what she feels that she is lacking in gender and size. Her voice is generally lower-pitched than the average girl, with a bit of a growl to it. It started out that way because she was trying to overcompensate, but then gradually grew into what is now a habit. (Her natural voice peeks out from time to time.) Extremely intelligent, stoic, and self-motivated, Kip absolutely despises being patronized. Her vocabulary is massive, and includes every single swear word known to wolf, and all will be utilized if someone pisses her off. Which happens very often and very easily, as Kip has quite the short fuse when it comes to others talking down on her.
	Oksana Baranski (Mate to Aleister)
	Oksana is proud to be a Baranski and to be Inna's daughter. This gives her ambition to do something with her life than to he content just being part of a pack. This and having overcome the injury that caused her to have a limp has given her confidence to know she can do anything she puts her mind to. She's grown to understand what's happened in the past which gives her caution in the rest of her life. She won't trust easily after the disappearance of her father. She is a survivor and has grown strong through her years as a loner. She isn't the little girl she once was. She is a woman now with dreams and she won't be pushed around.

Seri Donata

As Seri has grown, made friends, and become adjusted to pack life, he has developed into a core star personality. He loves to have fun and is very carefree, focused more on enjoying life and bringing a smile to those around him than anything else. He is incredibly social, and loves interacting with others because it gives him energy and strength. At times, this can lead to him being mischevious, especially as he enters the rebellious teenager years of his life. Despite this, he can be quiet still, bringing energy in different ways when it is required, and is always honest. He knows what it is like to be lied to, and he doesn't like the feeling so he would never wish it upon another. Recently, Seri has experienced bouts of depression and guilt surrounding the passing of his father and his failture to visit him before it happened.

	Kateri takes after her mother sporting a full black coat. She gets her eyes from her father. He gave her one blue eye and one gold eye.

	Leo Vuesain
	Leo is the quiet sort, often keeping to himself and rarely speaking up in groups, but he enjoys hanging out one on one with his family, and especially learning and hearing stories from the adults. He doesn’t readily show much emotion, and to an outsider, he might appear distant and cold, but those who know him best can read his subtleties, and in truth he cares deeply for his friends and family. He is a stickler for rules and fiercely protective, always putting the pack and his family before himself.

	Born to Aleister Vusain and Mavis Kipley, leader and subordinate of Sanguine Cove.
	Stella Vuesain
	Stel fears little, and seeks to explore and discover new things from an early age. The girl is very interested in spreading her wings and developing strength. She may heed advice or resent it, but in the end she always makes her own choices and speaks her mind. She is set to grow into her own as an outspoken member of her family who's not afraid to take action and even break out the thorns when she must - but with strong roots and a lot of love. Early experiences with loss and loneliness have cast a shadow over the young woman's otherwise sunny disposition. While she still seeks to remain optimistic, she has grown more thoughtful and more capable of treating serious situations with the gravity they deserve. However, she still struggles between recklessness and inaction, between living in the moment and being caught up with worries about the past and future. Her ambitions have also begun to grow, albeit rooted in the best of intentions - she wishes to keep those she loves safe, and the difficulty of that task is sinking in heavily. How she will grapple with it remains to be seen.

	Galen Vuesain
	Diantha Vuesain
	Diantha is the second born of Oksana's first litter, daughter of Aleister. She was fortunate to experience the drought next to a lake that didn't dry up, though the Cove was not immune from disaster. Diantha's father died as a result of a battle with a cougar, plunging the entire pack into grief. She soon had more agemates to play with, however, when the wolves of Fool's Gold Chasm disbanded and joined the Cove instead.
	Star Vuesain
	Her namesake explains almost everything about this girl as she not only takes after her paternal grandmother’s color and build, but also much of the Star Dancer’s personality as well. Her father will have a lot to reminisce with Star as she goes about life with the family’s heterochromia gaze. Taking on a medium, lean physique, Star will always be the honest and polite one of the siblings as she leads with her empathetic heart just like her Grandmother Namid did.
	Feyre Vuesain
	The wildest of the five children Feyre will keep her parents on their toes. With the wanderlust of many generations of Vuesains behind her it may be difficult to find her at home. She will do before thinking in most instances, unable to help herself and seeming to never learn from her mistakes. She won't be told what to do by anyone. Feyre has a wild streak in her and she means to let everyone know about it. Aside from whatever forces call to her she loves her family and will stick by them no matter what. It won't matter how far she goes Feyre will always return home.

	Andy Vuesain
	Andy, named after his grandmother Vanadis, was born frail and became sick early on. His parents tried to save him but could not. He passed away at only a month old.
	Ally Vuesain
	Ally was named for her grandfather Aleister, and has traveled far and wide with her father in search of a home as they grieve her brother.
