Saradathia Kethian
night time, close to midnight with a full moon overhead,  55 ° F, 13 ° C @Spieden

A small white shape trudged quietly through the ominous. Fog enshrouded forest, the girl’s fur stood on edge as she moved, the occasional rustling of -something- made the usually brave wolf scared. Saradathia had been in many fights  as her scarred body showed evidence of, but she wasn’t afraid to fight things she could see. Not here though, everything from the creaking branches overhead to the semi regular chirping of the crickets, something, that to the girl was completely unnatural as where she was from, such insect hadn’t existed. None of this should be real, it was all unnatural, trees this large, unable to see the sky through the thick and entangling canopy and the ever present fog. It felt as if the forest KNEW she was there, enticing her and entrapping her.

Her ears perked forward as the small wolf slowed down to a shuffle as she tried to navigate her way through the thick and clustered trees, while at the same time trying to avoid the unshakable feeling that she was being watched. Slowly the yearly made little progress, her silver gaze firmly locked on the ground before her, her rounded ears, one missing the upper half of itself strained to pick up any new sounds that might help guide the girl. So enveloped in her work, she failed to notice the wraith that had been conjured up, her last thoughts ended in a sudden and involuntary  stentorian squeal as she  with a mass of brown fur.

Spieden Coho
It was a nice night for a moonlit stroll, the light of a full moon illuminating the forest ahead in it's usual spectral elegance. Normally Spieden preferred not to stay out so late at night, with pups and a pack to keep an eye on. But she had been tracking a herd into the evening, inadvertently staying out later than she had intended without accounting for the time it would take to get back.

Spieden had noticed the little scrap of a wolf drawing closer. She was more or less unconcerned, expecting that they would veer away and the two would pass quietly like ships in the night. Instead the tiny female kept on going straight towards her, the girl's silver eyes seeming to flick in every direction besides towards Spieden.

"For fuck's sake, watch where you're going, kid!" Spieden growled, taking a step back but otherwise unshaken as she allowed the youth to ricochet off of her considerable bulk. She might have been a bit more charitable if the snowy white yearling hadn't collided with her newly injured shoulder, the bare skin still tender and scabbed from where the bear had swiped her. It wasn't even that dark out, the moon high in the sky allowing ample light for such midnight wanderings. Girl must have been walking around with her head in the clouds.

"There's bears around here, you can't just go waltzing around like that." She huffed with a little less ire. She sure hoped none of her yearlings were oblivious enough to go bumbling around in the middle of the night, crashing into wolves who may or may not be so friendly.
