Wild Cherry Orchard would you live for me?

For @Daedra. Set before me and you and this bodybag built for two, in the middle of the night. 
For reference, the doe is a hallucination of Karina's.

The doe danced forward, shimmering blue hooves stamping impatiently.  Karina growled in annoyance, but she did not look up from her task.  She continued to sniff at a cherry bunch dangling from a low-hanging branch, brow knit in curiosity. Although the fruit was withered and frost bitten now, she was almost certain that a few moons ago it would have been edible. The remnants of a sickly-sweet scent clung to the entire orchard, which led Karina to believe that the fruit might even taste good in the correct season.  That was good to know, for a girl who preferred a vegetarian diet.
 
With a short sigh of finality, Karina peeled herself away from the fascinating plant and gave her reluctant attention to her companion. She cocked an eyebrow as if to say, “Well, what is it that you want?”  The doe never spoke to her in words (deer don’t know the language of wolves) so Karina never bothered to speak aloud when communicating with her daemon.  The doe hopped up and down energetically, rollicking in the glow cast by the near-full moon.  Karina stared at the prancing doe, smile pulling at the corners of her mouth for a few moments before she began laughing at her companion’s antics. What in the world had gotten her so worked up?
