Morganna's patience was running thin, the burning itch coursed under her skin holding no end in sight (her mother's gods help her if it stretched out as long as last year), and if previous experience was anything to go off it would only get worse as the days stretched by. She wanted this over with and she wanted it over with now. Unable to locate @Craw in what she considered a reasonable timeframe (it wasn't), she stood on the edge of the frozen lake and unleashed a howl demanding his presence. It was all well and good to spend time reforging old connections, but the Archer had no intention of becoming one herself.

She paced then, along the banks of the lake, the unseasonable warmth turning the snow to slush underfoot as the sun climbed ever higher. It did nothing to ease her temper. Teeth clicked on empty air as she considered throwing herself to the ground to roll in the snow while it was still there to sooth her (although she expected there would be more in the coming days before winter truly let up its death hold on the lowlands go. She couldn't wait any longer. She allowed herself to tip forward, face first into the deepest snowdrift she could find. Whenever Craw finally made his way to her, he could come and dig her out.
