Lachesis "XIX" Stark
@Lorcan | backdated to August 16 (few days after his conversation with Inna)
sorry for the wait! <3

The pale king owed Lorcán a conversation, too, but had been putting it off after his meeting with the raven. She had assured the ghost that she had been the only one in the wrong and that the tawny healer was not at fault. He believed her, of course, because he trusted her. Even despite hiding the truth of her daughter’s father—which, truthfully, didn’t bother him as much now as it did in the beginning—and her (provoked) actions at the border. He had been angry and, perhaps, a little embarrassed by their actions, for he did not want the Rye wolves to think lowly of their eastern neighbours. The anger was mostly due to the fact that they had not left immediately once the conversation started turning sour after they had discovered that Risaela was safe within the Fields. XIX knew that the raven simply wanted to get her younger sister home, but there were better ways of handling the situation. i.e. Getting Lachesis to handle it.

Emotions had been high and they still were. Both the little Tainn and her older sister were still grieving and struggling to cope with the death of their mother. Perhaps it had been Lachesis’ mistake in sending her.

He called for the tawny healer, asking for him to take a break from watching the children. Settling down by the river’s edge, within earshot of the rambunctious youth, Lachesis waited for Lorcán to join him. His chartreuse gaze remained fixated on the slow moving water, his tail curled tight around his paws.
