With this decided hate fresh on her mind the pup flicked her tail in annoyance as they turned to walk back to the territory. Ayla seemed scared but Mabel was just frustrated that her scheme had been foiled when she was so close to getting her sister out of the territory. Shaking her head in defiance she declared quietly, ”No go fast, mom hurt him if he hurt us.” It was a confident statement, and a true one at that. So with the pace of a pup who had never really worried about everything she led her sister back towards safety.
