Renier Lyall
@Celadine maybe we can get this finished xD
It's in the eyes I can tell you will always be danger

He was at the point his toes were starting to numb but he remained. Knowing it wouldn't be much longer.

He heard the Argyris first, definitely at a good, close range. The deer didn't hesitate any more. They began to bound away in fear. The Lyall focused in on their target. Trying to keep him from getting too far out of reach. They just needed an opportunity to draw blood. Trap him even. Rather they were successful or not, the adrenaline rising had him not exactly caring.

The buck at first didn't seem to realize he was what they wanted. Once he did he tried his best to remain with the others. Not that it would save him. Craving a bite he held off. They needed to wear him out a little bit, and maybe he'd rush forward to try.

Celandine Argyris

Celandine nipped at the creatures heels, steering it while they flew across the landscape. She thought to drive it back home, but an idea ignited like a wildfire in her mind. If they could draw it closer to the boggy areas of the corps, the perhaps it would be forced to slow? It might have put them at a disadvantage as well, but Celandine trusted that they both knew how to tread the sticky mud well enough. Turning the creature left, the woman waited for her chance. When it finally came, and the deer found his steps bogged down by the soft earth, the woman tore into his ankle. She would have to rely on Renier's brute strength for the takedown, but a torn ligament here and there would serve them well in getting the buck off of his hooves.

Have you seen my OOC preferences?

Cel seemed to be steering their target else where. Of course. The nasy mud was useful for something, and the buck wouldn't be thinking of that. As they pushed him, even the deer's graceful stride couldn't match the muck. With Cel adding injury, he kept beside the creature, mindful of the higher ground. Watching, waiting for the perfect oppetunity. It was came when a front leg crumpled, the beast almost falling by his own means  Renier threw himself at the thick side of his neck, biting, and pulling to keep him down.
