Risaela ???
@Judas - this could go really well or really badly...

RE - A cold snap seizes Relic Lore in its icy grip!
set at dusk

It was so freaking cold. Of course, it had been cold before, but it had begun to get warmer before this happened. Snow flurries drifted down through tree branches overhead, nipping and chilling her nose and paws. But Ris liked the cold. It was nice and pretty and simple, and not complicated and scary and confusing like the pack was at the moment. She couldn’t stand all the smells and irritated wolves and confinement, and she had needed to get out.

The girl had found this big waterfall only moments ago, but she was determined to rest around there for the night. It was too cold to go much further, and her paw pads were already cracked and bleeding from the trek on the mountains. So she settled down among the roots of a tree near the rapidly-freezing pool of water at the base of the falls.

Risaela sighed as she licked her bloody paws, unaware that she had left crimson footprints behind her in the crisp snow. The waterfall was drowning out potential sounds that might alert her to any nearby predators, but she was far too tired to think that far ahead at the moment.

She just needed rest.

Judas Orion Archer
Judas ARCHER
by the light of the moon, we run

Judas would likely give his brother a heart attack, having wondered off so far on his own. Usually the pair was no more then a few hours from one another and if not, would catch up on one another first before heading off. Their travels went back and forth, back and forth from east to west and west to east between Pookastone Scowle and Willow Ridge. This time the pup decided to take a bit of a different path. Having been only as far north as the Marsh where he had met up with his father, this time the boy went straight north from the Drooping Willows, meeting into a new kind of forestry of different trees, some broken and charred, new sprouts of wildlife having taken over what once was. He was once more in unknown territory and the thrill of it all sent a shiver down his back. If it wasn't due to this then it was due to the cold that was coming in. After the lands warming up with the coming of winter, the bright sun melting away snow, it seemed like winter had not given up just yet.

Judas had not expected to run into something like the Bramble Falls though the roar of the water called to him none the less. How could he pass it up? He followed it, moving more north and arcing to the east where the familiar looming mountains were. Now he knew if he headed south again from here he would not be far from familiar lands. The water crashing into the pool below and branching off into many rivers and streams was both stunning and interesting. He had seen water fall from rock before but nothing compared to this.

The dark colored wolf took in a moment to breath in the fresh waters, the crisp new snow and....blood. His dark grey eyes snapped open, overly large black ears perking as they tried to hear something over the roaring of the falls. Instead he caught sight of bloody paw prints in the fresh snow, leading to the water's edge. He followed it, of course, not being a very cautious man and it was there he found a young female. "The hell happened to you?" He asked curiously, one pointed ear folding.
