Lana Tainn

If Lana had learned anything in her short life, it was that time kept moving. Even when you lost everything, and everyone, it kept going. They pushed onward when Naira left them, when Lacey, and Suka left them. Even when their father disappeared they still had to wake up, and eat, and power through it, because time stopped for nothing. As much as she wanted it to, as much as she cried, and begged it to, the passing of days showed them no mercy. She'd found herself rather reclusive in the last few months, quietly watching over Cannon, and minding Treyah. She never caused trouble, or got in the way, because she couldn't. Because if she did, she might break. So it shouldn't have come as any surprise that today, like any other day, she crept towards a cache in hopes that she could take it back to a quiet spot, and sit with her thoughts.

Garmir was returning from his hare hunting, fresh skill still hanging from his jaws as he approached the pack cache. He usually brought new kill to be added into supply and took something older for himself instead to keep the supply rotating. This time however, as he approached the pack's supply he noticed there was someone else there already. He recognized the member as Treyah's younger sister, Lana.

Garmir had not really had any real conversation with the pup before, even if he had seen her number of times. He wasn't sure if his somewhat scarred and intimidating look might be the reason neither of the pups had ever approached him for chat or pretty much anything, but now there was good opportunity for Garmir to show he was rather nice wolf - provided you were on his side.

"If you are looking for food, you can have this. Its still warm... " -Garmir offered, the dead hare hanging limp from his jaws as he offered. The kill obscured Garmir's expression but he was smiling gently, speaking to the pup in matching, rather pleasant and calm tone. He lowered his head and then placed the hare down to the ground for Lana to take if she wanted to have it.

Lana Tainn

Lana was aware of the man's approach, but she opted against saying anything. What was the point? She hadn't the words, or the strength to speak, at least not mentally. She'd gone this long without having any sort of meaningful conversation with him, what would another day, month, or year be?

Much to her disdain, the dark-agouti man seemed keen on bothering her. Bright eyes swung in his direction, but the rest of her body remained rooted to it's spot. The hare was tempting, it's scent permeating through the air, but she refused it. Giving a small shake of her head, she turned away. It looked as though she'd be going without today. "I'm not hungry." It was a lie. The Tainn was, in fact, hungry, but she'd rather not let the man in on it.

Something was clearly wrong with the young girl and Garmir wondered if Triell's disappearance was it. The young Tainn turned away from Garmir's offer but clearly she had come to the cache to find something to eat. Was it shame or something else - the earthen male could not tell. Teenage minds were complicated to understand.

"Hey... hey hold up. Don't go just yet. I actually had something to tell you." -Garmir murmured with as pleasant tone as he could muster, the act of trying to be nice not really his strenght. He moved along her side, that tempting, warm rabbit again in his jaws as he brought it close, muttering through his bite. "Your sister asked me to begin training you. Particularly hunting but also other things. We would begin come spring." -he said - or rather stated, not asking wether or not Lana wanted to be tutored by him.

Again he laid the rabbit in front of her paws and then gave her some space, moving aside few steps and looking away as if that would make his offer more appealing. Garmir peered into distance, not looking at anything particular as he was more listening than using his eyes at the moment.
