Bring the noise

Yesss. Jenny wasn't sure if the day could get any better. It could have all gone down hill, Cheedo could have been really mad, but she wasn't, she even wanted to play! Jenny couldn't contain her glee anymore and let out a big wooot as she reared up on her hind legs. For a moment she thought that Cheedo would tag her back, but nope! She went right for Ly!

Screaming, Jenny kicked off into a sprint in an attempt to get away from the tawny Tainn. There was no way she was getting tagged next, she was too fast too clever for that. Or at least that's what she liked to think, no one had told Jenny otherwise yet. She charged back into the water, and wriggled her butt as she waited to be chased. Would Ly fall for the bait, or would she try and get revenge on Ly? The not knowing made it all the more exciting, she couldn't wait to find out.

Bring the ruckus

Cheedo mentioned that she was grateful that it had been a friendly face to have encountered Jenny and no one else, least of all one or a number of the coyotes that had plagued Relic Lore all summer long. She also remarked about paying a visit to Shallows Edge and confirmed that Daesamar was one of Clearwater Tarn, confirming Lyanna's assumption. "Ah, I'm happy I was the one to come across her, too - one certainly can't be too careful around here these days and to be honest, Jenny has been like a ray of sunshine," she noted, looking over the pup who was obviously bored with the chit chat with a novel fondness. "I'm sure the lords of the Edge would be open to receiving you, Cheedo - perhaps a new alliance could be forged between our packs."

If the Edge and Tarn did allies themselves, it would mean that her pack would have allies north, south, and west of them. Which would be favorable, given the disposition of the situation with Vigil's Keep. For a short moment her eyes drifted to the bearberry patch where she would collect her store for the infirmary when the trio's game of tag was concluded; to return home with the herbs she'd sought out to find and news of a prospective alliance to report to Askan and Reyes, well, that would make for a good day, wouldn't it.

But before she could give any more thought to it all, Cheedo chose to indulge her tiny friend and partake in their game of tag. With a playful wag of her tail, she intercepted her you're it and made a wild circle around before catching up to Jenny to pass it along.

The three girls continued on for a time before eventually bidding each other farewell. Lyanna watched as the two Tarn wolves began their trek back up the mountain, a contented smile on her face as Jenny went about making her way with more energy than she could hope to have for herself. Hopefully their paths would cross again someday, sooner than later. The girl nosed her way to the bearberry patch, gathered up what she could tote back to the Edge, and left out to begin her own journey home.
