For @Larkin and @Tzila Thoughts. Speech.

Mist had fallen over Pasos al Cielo on this night, most likely from the waterfall nearby, as far as Alvar was willing to believe. However, as unlikely as it seemed to be, there was something almost otherworldly about the mists and fog tonight as Alvar walked through them, heading home after a long day of unsuccessful hunting. The prey was skittish around this time of year and were always on high lookout for predators as they tried to collect food for the winter. The winter air had it's effect on all things hat dwelled within the Lore, that much was certain.

As he Walked on, Alvar could feel something creeping on him, but it seemed to never be in one place, so he passed it off at first as just a trick of the night as it were, but the longer it persisted the more sure he became that he was being followed and that whatever was following him was not friendly. At first he tried to ignore it and keep walking, hoping it might lose interest and go away. After a minute or two it became apparent that the silent treatment was not working, so he decided to pick up his pace, but that did not work either.

Alvar could tell that if he ran it might mean his doom, but he was not sure he wanted to turn and face his follower yet, so he set a path for the falls, hoping that the sound would drown out his footsteps and the water could help mask his scent, but as he kept walking towards them, the sound grew closer, until Alvar could almost imagine the breath of his follower on his neck.

He could take no more, and decided to face the other, whatever it was. He spun wildly and snarled as strong as his own voice was capable of, and when it came out, he scared even himself... "SHOW YOURSELF FLEA-BAG!!!" Now who was this intruder?
