This is Draven and Treyah's official exit from RoW. Pack members are welcome to post reactions to this thread but it should be assumed that everyone had been informed 1-2 days ago that they were leaving. Aquaria is leaving with them, @Scorpius may also join them but if not, he will be left in the care of the pack.

This is Draven's one and only post and this thread will be archived February 15th.

Draven had not been being a good leader, he knew that. When his infection had just started he had thought it merely to be a cold - nothing to worry about. But, the symptoms had not faded and instead had only continued to get worse and he had resigned to spending most of his days in the infirmary. Not only to heal himself but to prevent the spread of whatever illness had gotten its claws into his lungs. Still, he did his best to do what he could and had promised himself to complete at least one border patrol per day, even on his worst days. It felt shitty to be honest, he knew he was leaving the lions share of the work up to his mate who was stressed enough.

Her sister showing up with news of her mates death, the fire that destroyed Treyah’s homeland and all the coyote had left a strain. These were the reasons that the woman gave him when she came to the infirmary when she requested a move. The dark man could tell that this wasn’t just a one off statement and was something that she had been battling with for a long time. He had of course agreed, he just wanted their family to be together and for her to be happy, he had no stake in this land and if she wanted to move he would be more than happy.

They had waited until his health had improved enough he was confident he could move and not hold them back. Then they had informed the pack members, not wanting to up and leave them in the middle of the night, as so many others had done to them. And now it was time, the day not overly cold and the skies clear of snow. Wth his side pressed against his mates he nuzzled behind her ear as they sat on their borders for one last time. Soon they would be gone.
