Because this is a Pack thread, it cannot be archived or removed for inactivity. This serves as a place for basic and general social gathering. She missed the sky-water. For a few days, her small, boring world had been transformed, a glory of mud and puddles, and fresh green things shooting up everywhere. But just as quickly, everything had returned to the sad, dry husk she’d been used to. The marvelous mud-puddles were once again, merely dust, and the air no longer smelled of life. This was the world she had been born into, but now that she’d experienced the rain, she was no longer content.

With a somewhat theatrical sigh, Apolline stared up at the sky, willing the dark clouds to reappear, but to no avail. Ironically, the sun-pup longed for her namesake to be covered up, its harsh rays once again being replaced by the blessing of rain.
