Kateri Vuesain-Slayer
AW - Sanguine Cove, an eagle is spying on your den.

Kateri was making a habit of venturing outside the den. Each time she would try to sneak a little further, as she was quickly learning there was so much more beyond the little clearing. She knew, however, she was too small to get too far, but it did not stop her from trying. She shuffled, slowly and carefully, away from the entrance of the den, her little ears doing their best to listen for lurking packmates. Unfortunately for Kateri, everything sounded out of the ordinary as she was still processing what, and who, the new sounds belonged to.

Unbeknown to Kat, she was not alone.

A feathered figure stood tall in one of the nearby trees, its rich, obsidian eyes fixated on the young Slayer girl.

As usual, she was blissfully unaware of her surroundings, too fixated on each new scent that tickled her nostrils. She slumped back onto her hindquarters, a happy hum filling the back of her throat as she glanced around, surveying how far she had made it this time from the den. (Which was not very far to those with long legs, for Kateri it was quite a feat.)

Chan Eastfall
It was difficult for Chan to successfully spread himself out through all hours of each day's cycle. Nocturnal by nature, any time he was awake during the day added a peculiar stressor to his body and mind, draining him quicker even when he got into the habit of sleeping at night like his family often did. What it ultimately meant was that he no longer had defined sleeping periods, and instead napped when he had the chance, often within several yards of one of either @Aquene or @Kip's natal dens.

He of course pointedly stayed awake when it was expected of him to be watchful, but this moment had seen him simply taking a break. While the aerial predator assessed it's chances, Chan's slumbering form was little deterrent at present.

Chan can be unacknowledged/skipped unless woken.

Moonshadow Eastfall
I think I need help, cuz I'm drowning in myself

Summer was upon the mountain, but it was still significantly cooler than valley below. The bight blue sky and white puffy clouds also contributed to the summery feel. With summer the inky woman's spirits were lifted more so than any other season. She still carried a sadness in her heart for the pup who was born sleeping like two of her own, but she wanted to give as much as possible to Aquene's surviving pup as well as Kip's triplets. When they made their way into the world the pack would have their paws full for sure. But while the triplets remained in the safety of their den, Moon knew Kateri would be exploring every chance she got. With a stick in her maw the inky Eastfall made her way to Aquene's den. Weaving through the trees her large form came upon the clearing. Cool eyes fell upon the dark form of Kateri standing out starkly against the background before seeing the sleeping form of Chan not far off. She smiled at him, pride filling her. She knew he preferred to sleep during the day but had noticed him around more helping with the litters. Moon would let him sleep for as long as possible and would occupy Sanguine's first pup.

With no obvious signs of danger Moonshadow had no reason to search their surroundings for any. Even as the majestic eagle sat in the treetop and let out a call the seasoned mother didnt think twice. Instead she approached Kateri and laid not far from the girl. She placed the stick between her paws and smiled at the whelp. "Hello dear." she greeted with her silver dusted tail sweeping behind her. She knew Kateri may be too young to show any real interest in the stick but she figured it was better for her to chew on the stick rather than her ears.

Aleister Vuesain

The Vuesain kept tabs as much as he could on both mothers and all four of his children, constantly moving to check on all of them throughout the day. He knew he could trust the rest of his pack to keep a watchful set of eyes on them too, but Aleister couldn't rest easy without checking on them himself. So after checking in with Mavis and the triplets, he made his way to the den where Kateri would be.

As he approached, he spotted the dark form of Moonshadow present as well as Chan's slumbering form not far away. His mismatched gaze caught the sight of the large predatory bird resting within the treetops. Narrowing his gaze, he was always looking for threats, though this wasn't the greatest, it was still one to keep an eye on. So, the tawny man approached his daughter and Moon to make the eagle think twice. Leaning down to nudge Moonshadow in an affectionate greeting, he then gave his daughter a lick upon her cheek. "Hello darling," the father purred softly as he laid down next to her upon the dusty ground.

Nash Eastfall
Nash had been out all night, restlessly checking the borders and caches. With Kateri out wandering about and the triplets likely not too far behind her, he was growing paranoid. They weren't even his offspring, but Aleister was family and that meant his children were too. He would do his best to live up to his father's example. Nash wasn't much of a fighter, really, but he could still do his part.

He was finally making his way back toward the pack den when he decided to check in on Aquene and Kateri. His ears lifted a little when he saw his mother and Aleister were already there with the adventuring pup while Chan napped a short distance away.

With a quiet greeting and fond bump of shoulders, Nash passed his leader and mother and sank to the ground not far from his brother. He huffed out a sigh as he rested his chin on his paws and lazily watched the young girl interact with her father and Moonshadow.
