Sanguine Cove I. Leader
Nash Eastfall
@Aleister for discussing pack roles! Feel free to pp Nash's location.

Nash had spent a lot of time thinking, and still he had no answers for himself. The problem was this was a crucial question: what did he want for himself? What could he give the pack? How could he best put his time to use?

He wasn't like his father. He wasn't a good fighter, and Nash wasn't sure he wanted to be. He knew it wasn't something Tagg had wanted for his children at any rate. But the Cove needed a guardian, especially with pups to protect.

He'd originally thought he'd make a good scout, but now that he was home, Nash found that he didn't want to keep leaving the way Chan did. If being a scout gave the older Eastfall boy the satisfaction of travel while keeping him home, Nash would accept it, no matter how much he worried. Nash had good knowledge of the surrounding lands that he could put to use, yes, but did the Cove need more than one scout?

Being a hunter wasn't something Nash spent a lot of time thinking about. He could absolutely practice more, organize group efforts to get the pack fed, but it wasn't something he had a lot of confidence in.

There were other things he could do, he knew, but the rest of his options seemed so distant. Better for him to take on a role for the pack that actually helped now, and he could practice for something else at another time if he needed to.

Despite his lack of answers, Nash decided he had delayed long enough and he needed to seek out his leader. He was confident Aleister would have some suggestions, and he could tell Nash what was needed. He would be happy to do whatever was needed of him, regardless of his level of comfort at first. He was here for the Cove, one hundred percent.

Nash decided not to call for his alpha; he didn't want curious ears peeping in. Instead, Nash set off into the territory. He doubted the new father would be far from either of his litters' dens.
