Spoopy RE: You find a pile of bones abandoned. They're huge.

AW to DEB members. Set late afternoon 10/3

She was slowly regaining her confidence, venturing further and further from her safe space. Could anything really be a safe space anymore? She'd thought she was safe here, home with the rest of the Backwater wolves. Perhaps she was; she was the one who'd ventured to the border, who'd led the monster to Mor. She wondered if Asmund knew; was that why he was avoiding her? Did he blame her, hate her, for what she'd done?

She did.

Llinnea was starting to get angry about everything now. She didn't want to be stuck here, cowering and wondering if the monster was coming back for her. She refused to let herself be afraid to breathe. She would get strong, strong enough to protect herself against the monster.

That meant more time out practicing, and eating. She needed to learn how to hunt, how to fight. Azzy wouldn't practice with her... she didn't even want to ask, only to be turned down. For now, she'd find a quiet corner and practice some of the moves she'd seen @Viorel use when he'd attacked the monster that day.

Sympathy, empathy. It was becoming abundantly clear that Isla lacked both in great amounts. Where caution and concern should have been was instead only annoyance. Why had something had to happen? These kids weren't even Valles, what did their impact have on the Backwater? Just because something bad happened to them did not mean it happened to her.

They seemed to be the source of a lot of problems right now.

Which was maybe why she finally rose, following the scent trail of the girl. Just to see her doing apparently nothing. So an eye rolling quickly followed from the Valle girl.

What are you doing? Voice already slanted into judgmental.
