Scully Archer
Random Event: Scully, a gutsy wolverine is trying to make off with your prey. (I'll bring the critter in later)
For @Clover only.

Scully was far from happy. This aching, bitter loneliness was far from new, but it had been a considerable stretch since he'd last felt it. He'd realized that he had likely, without realizing it, really thought that things had changed. That being here was different enough, he was different enough, that he wouldn't come back to this. It hadn't been true, and that part of him had been ridiculously foolish.

Blood pitter-pattered against the vibrant leaf litter of the forest floor as he walked, draining steadily from the marmot carcass that he carried. The woods out here seemed so quiet compared to the bustling back at the Ridge, and he was seeking a place to rest and enjoy the solitude. He was tired of being around Avella and her boyfriends, of pretending to be energized for the kids, of being reminded of Ruka and Moore and everything else.

Scully just wanted to sulk in peace.

Dead Empress Backwater III. Medic
Clover Assana
She walked briskly on her toes, focus forward as she gently gripped the strips of white fir bark in her maw. Feeling like she had dilly-dallied for a tad too long, Clover was intending on returning home swiftly, wanting to leave enough daylight to appropriately sort out her medicine den. It was in a bit of a messy state as she had been busy with a few other things in recent times.

But the scent of fresh blood had her stopping sharply, toes splaying in the dirt as she turned her head, nostrils flaring. That scent could only mean one thing: injury, but she was unsure whether it was wolf, prey, or predator.

Her dark amber eyes looked around, gaze darting between the shrubs and trees, looking to see if she was in danger, or someone else was. Another scent mingled in with the rich coppery smell, one that was somewhat familiar to her.

Clover began forward at a brisk pace yet again, now heading in a different direction, hoping to intercept her... acquaintance? Friend? Whatever he was, before he moved too far away from her home. She was on a bit of a tight schedule, after all. But it would be good to catch up with him again, even just for some formalities between their two packs.
