Itai Sole
(Random event: MAY 15TH, 2013. Itai, you find a stinky, rotten carcass.)

Her paws cannot dodge all the flowers- she steps on many. Itai feels bad; they are so pretty. Shades of red and orange flourish through the open area. It was very overwhelming to the eye. Itai pauses for a moment and scans the area. No sign of game. With a twitch of her ears, she continues forward. As she bounds along, the wind shifts. Her nose wrinkles as she turns her head. What the hell was that smell? Something was rotting. She tilts her head and turns gracefully, now following the odor.

The flowers she can see ahead of her show no sign of being walked through. How far was the smell? The wind wavers, and she is thrown off for a moment before relocating the odor particles in the air. Her tail rises as her eyes finally fall upon something tucked toward the edge of the fire colored flowers. The light coated female takes a step back as her face scrunches at the overpowering scent. The carcass of a fox lay before her, rotting and decomposing. She wonders why the fox died. Perhaps it was old.

Hey @Itai Hope it's okay I post here? :)

she doesn't care how she gets there, as long as she gets somewhere she knows...

She had been in all honesty wandering aimlessly, her mind previously occupied by the thoughts a rogue whose name she didn't even know. It seemed that was all she thought about these days and she couldn't explain why, yes the encounter had been embarrassing and it had been the first of anything even remotely so to happen to her here, but it hadn't been the end of the world. She had not even noticed herself wandering off of the pack's territory and into the fireweeds, which reached up almost to her shoulder blades. It had been the smell that had brought her out of her day dreams, it was an awful over powering stench and she had to stop herself from retching though it caused a slight gag. Her eyes watered slightly and she wandered slightly closer, her curiosity barely outweighing her disgust in whatever was causing this odor.

She almost stumbled over the dead vixen that lay in the field of weeds, its pelt blended in so well with the fiery colour. Her muzzle wrinkled as she looked upon the dead thing, which had obviously been left for too long in the spring air which was starting to warm, though slush was still present. It took a moment or two until she realized she was not alone, another had been curious enough to seek out the carcass, though the smell of the femme was masked by the smell of decomposition. Minka could not tell whether the woman was a loner or not, though by the looks of her she had a pack to help look after her, she did not had the gauntness of a loner. A warm smile spread across her face, though her nose was still wrinkled, "I am Minka of Whisper Caverns, perhaps we should move a little farther from the corpse? It probably has some disease I would rather not catch." The words were followed by a slight chuckle, the sound like bells in an otherwise still field.
