Sagacity
As soon as he turned toward her and saw that she'd taken his fish, she could see his eyes pale with slight worry and realization. But did he become angry? No. No, he was too young to be so defensive, and hadn't yet become jaded toward other wolves who lay claim to what was rightfully his. And she, the selfish fish-thief, began to eat the fish with little remorse as soon as she realized he wasn't going to fight her for it. She felt a teeny tiny pang of guilt- the poor, naive child had had his meal stolen from him by a wily older wolf who used her son as an excuse to do so- but she was actually more proud of herself for pulling it off than anything. It was a dog eat dog world; and she was going to have fish for dinner tonight, whether it was hers or not.

He seemed somewhat confused but she took it in stride and thumped her tail against the ground. Let him feel good about what he'd done- rather than provoking her and earning himself a vicious schooling, he'd let her walk all over him. She considered, for a moment, harassing him into giving up the other fish he'd caught- but as soon as he mentioned being in a pack and catching the other fish for the alpha's puppies, she decided against it. Then again...Perhaps it was a lie. Her ears perked.

"You're very selfless." She said with a warm tone. However, part of her wondered if he hadn't said that simply to keep her from taking the other two from him...Maybe he'd made it up in an effort to safeguard the fish. 'Who are your alphas, and of which pack?" She asked, sounding more interested than suspicious, though still with enough purpose so as to make it clear she wanted information if he wasn't actually lying. Tilting her head back, she gulped down the last bit of the fish and waded into the water again, one ear still turned toward him as she began to watch the waters for more fish.

Lachesis "XIX" Stark
It was XIX’s desire to help others and his empathy that weakened him; the gangly yearling would always put the needs of others ahead of his own, even if it wasn’t beneficial to him. Like a leech, Nineteen fed of the happiness of other and if someone he encountered wasn’t happy, he would do whatever necessary to flip their mood around. However, unlike Anastasia, the boy didn’t always see the best in others – he would certainly try to, but the yearling always followed his gut instinct. With this particular wolf before him, the ghost couldn’t figure her out – she confused him, and XIX was constantly worried that he was going to say the wrong thing. He knew, though, that he wasn’t always going to come across pleasant wolves like Capella and Naia, so Lachesis forced himself to not be too disgruntled by the silver fae.
“Shade and Anastasia, although th-they are Shade’s p-puppies,” the boy started quietly, pear eyes focused on the ground between them. He pawed the remaining fish closer to him as he began to speak one more, his words growing stronger with each one that fell off his tongue. “C-currently we are in Spectral Woods, but we’re g-going to be moving South soon.” He kept the information short, as he wasn’t sure how much he was supposed to say about the small group of rogues. They were in the process of establishing themselves, and soon they would travel to find the place that the family was to call their home.

Sagacity
Still looking a bit lost, Lachesis gave her the names of his alphas- which, quite understandably, were foreign to Sagacity, as was the name of the place they lived. Without moving her lips she tasted the names on her tongue a few times so that she would remember them- it would be useful information for Naira to know. She didn't know any of the territories by name, with the exception of the mountain and a few rivers, but found this one- Ghastly Woods- to be almost too theatrical to bear. She couldn't fathom living in such a ridiculously named place. He'd left out one bit of information, though, one she needed from him and so, as a gentle reminder, she prompted: "And your pack's name?"

Her voice and tone were benign, gentle. Partially because she meant to be kind, for now, and partially because she'd been distracted by the waters which moved about her again, as she continued to watch for more potential meals to swim by. One more, she thought, and that'd be enough fish and enough time spent with another wolf.

Lachesis "XIX" Stark
The boy relocated his gaze toward the rushing water, brows narrowed as he studied the movements of the splashing fish. He still needed to catch one more fish before he could return to the Woods and didn’t want to leave the two at his side unattended to with the yellow-eyed stranger still around. Not to mention that the yearling was particularly fond of conversing with strangers – it was still something he was getting used to, with the help of Anastasia, but he still preferred to avoid it. Lachesis knew that he was going to have to get over this fear soon, as the pack would be accepting new members into the ranks and he would eventually have to get to know all of them. The thought almost caused the boy to shudder, a frown creasing his lips as he returned his attention back to silver female as she spoke once more.
“Pitch Pine Trail,” he answered quickly, hoping that this was enough information for the yellow-eyed fish stealer. The name was not set in stone just yet, but Anastasia had hinted that her and Shade had settled on that particular name. XIX hoped that it was alright that he was sharing so much information with a stranger – eventually the other packs within Relic Lore would learn about them, so the lanky yearling didn’t see any harm in sharing. “What p-pack are you f-from?” The question fell from his lips before he could stop it, but curiosity had taken over and forced the boy to speak.

Sagacity
One more post from you and this can be used as a hunting thread :)

One ear turned toward Lachesis when he spoke the name of his pack, but her eyes remained trained on the water. There seemed to be fewer fish- perhaps simply a lull, or maybe the majority had passed already. Either way, her concentration didn't keep her from hearing his answer or the question he asked next, but it did keep her from answering. As though sent by the forces which told her to keep her pack's identity a secret, a fish swam just close enough for Sagacity to plunge her head under and make a grab at it. Her first snap was a miss but afterwards, she immediately pounced backwards and made another lunge, this time catching the fish squarely about its middle. This one was fine and fat, and would do without a doubt. This one, she thought, she could take back to Naira, who would be pleased not only with the fish but with the information she'd gathered.

Face dripping wet, she waded to the shore, making sure to give his catches a wide berth so as to set him at ease. "Nearly got away," She commented as soon as she put the fish down, using that as an excuse to change the topic. "I should get back," She said, shortly thereafter, looking for a way to get back without making it seem as though she was purposefully avoiding his question. "It was nice meeting you- good luck." She said with an optimistic nod. It wasn't until after she'd picked up the fish and had trotted away that she realized that she didn't even know his name.

Although the yearling was glad that he and Anastasia had finally found a home together – away from Reaper – he still missed the freedom that came along with being a loner. The yearling was grateful to the muddy-eyed Alpha for accepting both of them into his group of rogues, and he believed that they could not have picked a better pack to join. It had taken the pair longer than it should have to decide on which pack was best suited to their needs – mainly because XIX wanted to make sure he was prepared. Anastasia had given the lanky yearling lessons on proper pack ettiquite, and Lachesis wanted to make sure that he was ready.
Without warning – and without answering his question – the female lunged at the water, nearly missing the fish before she lifted her head with the fish flailing between her jaws. A crooked smile managed to work its way onto his dark lips as he met her gaze for a moment, ears pressed to the back of his skull. “Nice catch,” he commented, his stutter being left behind as the words stained the air between them. Suddenly, the silver announced that it was time for her to leave and Lachesis nodded in acknowledgment. It was time for him to heading back to the Woods to drop off the fish. Offering her a small smile as she wished him luck, the boy called out his own good-bye before turning back to the water to catch another fish: “It w-was nice meeting you, as well.” And with that, the nameless female was gone and XIX wasn’t sure if he’d ever see her again.
