Caniri Callahan
Caniri exit post

Considering his earlier misshap with the alpha, Caniri was quickly trying to make up for the fact. He actually liked his new alpha, and was glad to serve under him. He seemed like a good man, so Caniri had no objections. He trotted after Phineas as the alpha led him father into the territory. Caniri couldn't be positive, but the male seemed pleased by Caniris eagerness.

Phineas slowed and turned, facing Caniri. In response to his questions, he told him to look for food and mark the borders. Though they sounded like eay jobs, Caniri knew that they wouldn't be. Finding food would be very hard with the way the winter had been. As for marking the borders, that had complications of its own. The weather hadn't been pleasent. Phineas continued, telling him where to take the food. Caniris tail wagged slightly as his alpha told him to get acquainted with his new home. He had done it. He was a part of the pack.

As he watched Phineas leave, Caniri couldn't help but feel that despite the desperate times and somber cloak they were living under, that things were begining to look up. He turned and started walking along the edge of the territory, doing exactly as his alpha had instructed. He wanted to prove that he was worth the effort that his alpha had expended and worth the trust he had been given by being accepted into the pack. As Caniri marked the borders, he wasn't just marking them for someone else, he was doing it for himself too. This was his pack now.
