Gent Lieris

As Branwen spoke, the situation swiftly became much clearer for the king, and he found himself pleased with what he was hearing. A wolf so accepting of his place within the hierarchy, no matter the personal toll. A selfless, sacrificial subordinate who derived a feeling of fulfillment from such measures. Perfect.

He wondered briefly what @Raela would think of such a man, if she might try to persuade him to find some other meaning for his life. He supposed they would cross that bridge when they came to it. Given the tumultuous events surrounding his pack, they all needed someone reliable, dedicated to this extent. And Gent, as he thought more and more about it, was looking forward to having someone upon whom to vent his frustrations in a way that was unacceptable with the others. There was anger still simmering beneath his skin, rage which he had realized with Astraeus' final send off begged for aggression as the only means to bleed the poison. If he could be rough and domineering with this man without consequence, it might greatly help to relieve a lot of his tension.

"That is admirable," he hummed, giving Branwen one last sweeping appraisal of his glacial eyes before taking a step to the side, ready to turn and head back toward the pack lands. "If you want it, you have a place with us, Branwen."

Branwen Kakisadae

Bran couldn't say that he was too surprised to be offered a home with Gent's pack. Winter's were harsh and every set of paws helped. It was probably especially helpful when you could withhold some amount of food from the new members and make them earn their place. But even a smidgen of food was better than none and having a safe place to sleep was nothing that he would ever shake a stick at. "I shall not let you down, Sir." Branwen responded with a bow of his head. Lowering himself slightly, he crawled forward to lick the chin of his new leader and brush his side to take his scent. Quickly he withdrew and willingly followed the man to his new home.
