RE: all my love, - Spectre - Jul 12, 2013

Her lip curled in silent protest to the male, but Spectre simply nodded to her alpha and backed away from the darker male. She refused to give him her back until she was well out of attacking range. When she was safe and clear of the pair, the wolf turned, returning to the initial task she had chosen. To go hunting. She refused to remain in the pack lands if Anastasia wished to speak to the male alone. He unsettled her, but she had a job to do, and a pack to provide for.

Spectre wasn't sure how she would react if Beelzebub joined their pack. She supposed that it would have alot to do with how he acted when he was a member. If he doted on Anastasia, she supposed that would be all right.. but still.

If she had not known Bee previous to now she would have done her best to aggressively take manners into her own hands. However, she did know Bee and it was with this that she just wished for him to know that stepping over her borders was unnecessary but I had been done and all he could do was learn from it and move on. So when she signaled for her subordinate to leave she saw her leave without question. Something that appeased the young leader; a wolf that was not going to argue with her suggestion.

Turning her attention from the retreating form of Spectre to the present Bee, she gave him a half-smile and gestured that they walk. Ana wasn’t going to walk towards the center of the Fen, but more around it. These wolves were family and there was still very little she knew of the male. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">“Now that you have found me, what now?” What possible reason could the guy give her that was a valid reason to infiltrate her pack soundlessly? Ana certainly couldn’t think of very many reasons for a wolf to cross borders besides if they were a child and didn’t understand the rules, or had been given special permission.

RE: all my love, - Beelzebub - Jul 12, 2013

He watches the other woman go, holding back the sneer on his features with a simple, small smile. She backed fully away, clearly not allowing her back to be shown whilst he was in striking range - a pathetic display seeing that if he was going to attack, he would have done it in the first place and well before Anastasia's arrival. He never provided fair warning when he did attack, but only struck and quickly as the little serpent he was. But other then crossing their borders (which had been addressed) and mouthing off to the woman, there would and should be no reason for her hostility, obviously shown through her display without retaliation of Beelzebub. She would look like the fool, not him.

Now they moved, her not leading him directly towards the border nor into the heart of their home, but merely wandering the outskirts of the territory which he had gotten to. The scents here were various and fresh, new and the border markers not as strong as those he had passed previously, showing of their new formation. To her question, he did his best to think up something good instead of a simple vagueness of wonder and boredom for which he truly felt. "I understood my fault when I left you firstly. Life as a rogue wolf is hard and thought it best we stick together despite our lack of...past." He spoke, pausing on the last word. He had no past. At least, not a past which she would have expected of him, having stole this body from the soul who once had resided within, stealing away his thoughts and instinct in the process, without memory of who he was and where he was from left behind. A past, likely destroyed when he was fitted into this new frame of his. "When I scented you here, I worried. I did not wish to be greeted by someone who might object me seeing you, or object you even being here. So I sought you out myself...."

And now he was here, and now he planned to stay. Beelzebub most certainly had no intention of challenging all the way up to Leader, where he may be able to do what he want, when he wanted within the pack. Though this may seem legit and supply a certain lime-light to the horror he wished to announce, the thought was not a quite fit. After all, being a Leader meant to had to care for the pack, guide it, set its rules, protect it and the members within. Beelzebub had no intentions of doing this for he cared not for the members of Pitch Pine Trail, savor Anastasia and his care for her was not of friendship or mate-ship but simply due to the fact that she was a very large asset to him. If he was Leader he would have to be a good Leader, lest he upset her. It was far more easy being a sucky member then a sucky pack mate. One pack mate would not befall the whole pack, though a Leader may. His reasoning was sound and his plans in check. He would make his way to the top, just not the very top and be everything he should - in Anastasia's eyes alone.

At every turn that she took she could see that her pack was likely to accrete. They looked after one another and made sure that they were at least somewhat aware of who their pack mates were. There would be no strangers, Anastasia wanted to make sure of that. If anything, they needed to at least known their pack mates names and perhaps a random personal fact. So long as they were on friendly terms with each other, she knew that their pack would be safe and well knit. They were only a couple wolves she had yet to know anything about but that was likely to change within the coming weeks.

Bee’s appraisal to her words were sound enough, declaring that he had felt the pull of a wanderer shortly after her departure. Briefly it reminded her of a conversation she had with someone not too long ago about how being a lone wolf could certainly take its toll. Wolves were simply not built to be alone, as that was the reason behind the pack—to work as a team and to secure their survival as individuals. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">“Wise choice,” she said with a smile as her more doting and empathic nature once more consumed her. It simply wasn’t like her to be any sort of aggressor but she would not let it simply slide that he had been somewhat rude to a subordinate and passed borders without permission or an escort.

<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">“They are all friends here. They would not object to someone seeing me,” though she hardly expected anyone to specifically come looking for her, it was a nice surprise. Even then, she wondered what his intentions were here as if he could not get along with the wolves within the pack, then she didn’t think there was a spot for him. As much as she liked his company, being naïve and innocent to his charm, these wolves she had come to know were a lot like family and she would not jeopardize their safety.

<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">“If you’ve come to seek a place within the pack then you must know that these wolves that I have come to know are like family,” she spoke with honesty and clarity wishing to know deter him from a goal of joining but to perhaps show him that these wolves were not to be taken advantage of.

Whatever reasons he had given to allow her to think he could harm her pack he did not know, would not, so long as he thoughts kept as just this - thoughts. He had wondered into her home land, sure, foolish and reckless but nothing more then this. His snappy words went unheard by her, the other pack mates aggression could have easily been assumed by his trespass and unwillingness to fall before her 'dominance', if that is so what she thought of it to be. Though nothing in him allowed himself to show signs of aggression. Rarely he did, as said, striking without sign and often without purpose savor a pure pleasure to disrupt and corrupt. To her last sentence, his ears fall, feigning a feeling of being hurt by her words and his head lowers, tail falling in a manner which he had seen Spectre had done at her Leader's arrival. He shifts back, shaking out his coating of molted stripping and splotches of silver and black.

"Family? Already?" His question is outspoken without hesitance, a wonder which causes his head to twist in wonder as he watches her. The emotion of a mortal was fickle. Trusting so very easily those they did not know simply due to a kind word or gesture. It was like others sought one another out for companionship out of some loneliness in being with themselves. Most certainly not something Beelzebub could understand, for his own intentions of joining a pack was for mere survival purposes for a body that simply could not do without. "Have you not only just met them?" Although the demon was not certain, surely with the new pack they had only recently come together. Perhaps she knew a few of them previously, but certainly not by much. And the others that might have joined after, only weeks, days ago? Though the situation was not clear, it was most certainly puzzling. "Perhaps I am simple, but family to me is shared by blood. Family is a mother, father, sisters and brothers. I've no family and no intention of making up one." It was all true, these words. Though perhaps she might think of him as 'traditional' and that something tragic might have happened to his true family to make him not want to replace them, yet in truth, he was not of this world. He was birthed by no living thing. He was a mass of darkness, without form or place, ethereal like ghosts and wraiths. He wore only skin, only a mask.

<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">

Anastasia, unlike her traveling partner, came from a background where her family had been one she wished she had never had. They simply took everything for granted, never looked her way or saw the way that they treated her as anything horrid. Perhaps it was strange of her to be the only one to disagree with their style, but she had run away because it seemed like the right thing to do. Now that she had wolves here that treated her with respect and dignity, she liked to picture them as family. “They’re more of a family than the one I was born to,” she answered briefly and without explanation. If he wished to know, perhaps she would tell him but it was a past she was determined to forget.

<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">“I’ve known them for about a month and half,” at the least, <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">“I was recruited by their Alpha Male whose mate left him with two newborn children. I was the only adult female he knew of and asked me to step in to feed him thus also making me the Alpha Female.” It was a rather complicated story that probably was much too personal to really share with him at their stand of friendship but she couldn’t hold back. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">“They’re not really my children nor is he my mate, but I love his kids. I just want my own someday.” And more of that popular word vomit, some things she just couldn’t keep inside of her mouth or inside of her mind.

She speaks, and speaks on. He does not stop her, does not move from his placement as he kept his eyes to her own. Whether seen in challenge or not, the hell hound was simply giving the woman his full attention as she spoke of exactly how long she had been with the pack, how her and the Lead male were not mates, that his own mate had abandoned him and left her newborn children all the same, that she was thrown into the position out of desperation and her being the only adult female in the pack to due so. Much information, much, and had he already not decided he would align himself here, he could have used their weaknesses to his advantage.

"Leads room for much practice to perfection, then...." The words ease from his lips at the mentioning of her wishing to be a mother some day. He understood this, at least enough by knowing that many women, nearly all of them, wanted children, a mate and the complete package of family to their own. Alas, her message was made clear. These wolves were protected by her, close to her and under her order given the fact that she had now fell head first into the title of leadership. He had no intention of blowing his cover and thus, would keep these wolves off his radar as long as they did not strike him firstly.

"I will not hurt your followers, if this is what you question..." Physically, at least. As said, he had no intention of messing things up within the land that he would use to rest and feed from. Life as a rogue left too much room for failure. He had spent much of his time hunting for himself, watching his own back whilst he slept and tending his own wounds when injured. With Hunters, Guardians, and Medics to do this bidding for him, he was free to spend his time on more important things, the only important thing: his mission.

<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">

Anastasia felt torn in her thoughts, though seeing as she was most undecidedly unsure of why this was she figured it must be because Beelzebub had broken the golden rule. Regardless of whether or not he had done so in order to get to her more promptly, it was a rule that Ana didn’t want Bee to make a habit of breaking. These wolves might still be considerably new and fresh in her mind but they were growing on her. It was in her power to protect them and do what she could for them and protecting them was something that had to be done even if he had a quick charm about him.

If she had known that Bee had classified her in the same group as other women she might have scoffed or made a comment. It was her goal to be unique (and she still believes she is) but she knew some women didn’t want to bear children of their own, but she sure did. As Bee thought it up, she did want the whole charade. A mate, children, everything she could possibly imagine in the future. Ana wanted all of it and it would come to her when the time was right. She would be willing to accept whoever, whenever into her life.

<b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">“Just no nonsense,” she told him clearly as if making a direct point that hurting them as out of the question. Being who she was with very little leader experience and the quality to not foresee the bad in others, she didn’t see why Bee couldn’t be here. Besides passing borders he had done nothing wrong… should she ask Spectre since her actions spoke of defense against something but what? <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">“If this is really what you’d like; I can place you as a subordinate under Ace.”

He could have her, trap her, like a beautiful song bird in a cage, like a butterfly in a glass jar... She would have whoever, whenever, as long as the timing for her was right. Had he known he would have taken this into quite some consideration, though the male unknowingly was bland and plain to her, no color on his frame in the coating or in the eyes. He was black. He was silver, and this was all. His tail, cut into half in length then it normally should have been, swayed lightly, brushing at the hocks of his legs. His smirk returned, half-cocked as it was, an arrogant, condescending smirk that he could not shake. He wonders if the wolf that once lived within this vessel acted as his smirk suggest. Had he been a cruel, rude individual that had succumb to the demon because he was willing? Or had he been light, filled with innocence and weakness, making him so easy to take over? The demon's mind played to this question, all the while listening delicately to Anastasia's words. "Consider me a part of your ranks, then, my Queen." And as graceful as he could manage, did the beast bow, a lick stretching out along his jaws as he looks up to her.

gonna archive here, hope you don't mind :) <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">

Anastasia was, unknown to her, a target. Perhaps if she hadn’t been so cradled as a child and ‘protected’ by the male-dominant hierarchy of her pack, she might understand that she looked and acted like a target. It was probably a likely scenario that would not be allowed to play out in the current scene as she didn’t realize that her naivety and failed judgment might have caused something mysterious to arise. Ana didn’t know any different, she might appear as an adult on the outside (and some on the inside) but she sometimes had the social skills of a child. She was still warming up to how the pack hierarchy and rules worked but things were as they were. Ana had been elected and she would do what she could to secure her spot so long as Shade requested her presence in that position.

So with Bee’s response she knew that this was what he wanted and with the added concept of Queen, Ana felt a bit of pride well in her chest. His bow further allowed it to grow, finding a small smile etch its way upon her maw. That sounded so … elegant. She was a Queen. <b style="font-family:georgia; font-size:12px; color:#2AA6E0;">“Well, then, new Trail member, I’ll show you to the pack den.” With that Anastasia led him away from the outskirts of their borders and towards the center and though she saw no wrong, she would do as she felt was expected and tell him that she had recruited a member. Once the two got to the den, she requested that he perhaps associate himself with the rest of the lands, pack mates and perhaps finds Shade himself to brush past any anti-social vibes that might come across.
