Cheedo couldn't help but feel rather disappointed with the conversation that she'd had with Lorcan. She'd agreed to his terms but felt she didn't have much of a choice in the matter. Had she not would he have chased her away? She didn't feel as if anything was resolved. In fact she still felt as though he was judging her for the way she felt about Mittani. Sure he'd apologized for his earlier behavior but this, it just felt like he hadn't even listened and focused on what she'd said about her pale knight.

It was clear the conversation was over and that she wouldn't get the acceptance and understanding that she had been hoping for. It was like he got what he wanted and that was it, conversation over.
