The Rye Queen's banner wagged behind her happily at the good news. Healthy pups meant healthy pack, but more importantly...happy parents. The woman's voice was soft when she spoke, "Congratulations." Adelayde's voice drifted to her and the Tainn woman flushed slightly at the invitation. It was kind of Adelayde, to allow her to see the children. Just as she was about to step forward, however, their Lowest's voice made her stop in her tracks. A grey ears flicked in her direction and for a moment Jessie - were those black dots she saw. With a snarl, Jessie whirled, emerald eyes fixed on the man in front of her, jaws snapping. The woman's heart rate accelerated and breathing picked up. For a moment, the alpha reminded herself to calm down. It would do no good to lose her temper, not again.

When Jessie spoke, her voice was a low growl, "Mind your tongue and remember who you are speaking with." Jade eyes flashed ferociously. "We appreciate your desire to help, and after you presented what you had, I believe your alpha dismissed you. So I think you should be on your way unless you want to be on extra border patrols for the next moon." Nope, her temper was still there. Why was her head pounding so bad? The woman huffed, moving back towards the birthing den to allow Laike to have the last word should he chose. Now, for the children.

The monochrome mother did nothing more than pop her head into the den, wanting to give her second as much room as possible. First, emerald eyes moved over her friend before moving towards the two pups sucking on her mother's nipples. A light, for the first time in awhile, entered the Rye matriarch's eyes. Breathing out, she moved her gaze to Adelayde, voice soft, "They're beautiful."
