Alvar watched the beautiful wolf in front of him grinned and let her tail sway side-to-side, his own tail mimicking her as he allowed himself to be happy for the first time in months. Spring was here, and like the flowers and trees, it was time for him to shrug away the winter and settle in to new growth. He looked around him at the thick brush, trying to simply let himself be there, not worrying about his other goings-on or anything like that, he felt his heart thudding strong but steady in his chest and tasted the cold still seeping into his paws. He stepped forward again...
When she told him of the woman who he was to meet, he grinned gently as he watched her trot off into the thicket, dodging branches and sticks as he followed her scent. "Lead the way, Nia." He spoke, ready for the new year...
