RE: violent sons make bitter mothers - Rhaegara - Jun 28, 2021 [dohtml] It was comforting to have the presence of another pregnant woman around. It might not be typical, but their little band of wolves, their pack, was far from typical, was it not? She smiled back and snorted at her words, rolling her eyes out of instinct. “You’d probably be drowning in males.” She teased, because the men were outnumbering the women, of that there was little doubt, and it was fun to make fun of their male companions… they were all good wolves, but they were, at the end of the day, men. They would be there for each other. “We can do this.” She repeated with confidence and a wide grin on her features. “And we can help each other. Our kids can play together, learn to hunt and fight and heal together…” Their kids would, in essence, be family even if they weren’t in blood. [/dohtml] RE: violent sons make bitter mothers - Saga - Aug 04, 2021 [dohtml] She offered a theatric shudder at Rhaegara's joke and shook her head. "Thank the Gods that is not the case." She had met only one 'bachelor' group of wolves before she'd been deposited here, and the sheer chaos that they exuded... no. Without Rhaegara and Aubine around that would just be too much. Saga nodded to her companion, strangely invigorated and relieved at the thought of their children being raised together. Suddenly the inevitable birth of cubs into the Chasm wasn't so scary and she felt less alone than she had since the first hint of her changing scent had touched her nose. "Thank you, Rhae. Really." [/dohtml]RE: violent sons make bitter mothers - Rhaegara - Aug 05, 2021 Fade?
[dohtml]Rhae had done just fine on her own, and even after Adelard had joined up with her for her wanderings she had been okay… but adding all the men currently lurking about into the mix? No thank you. She was relieved to have Aubine and Saga both there as an estrogen-filled buffer for the sheer chaos of men looking to either sleep around such as her baby daddy or worse settle down. She still didn’t know how she felt about relationships and feelings if she were completely honest. Rhae nodded with a soft smile at her words, moving forward to give her a comforting bump. “And thank you, Saga. It’s a team effort, truly.” She stated back in turn. “We’ll get through this together… after naps though. I don’t know about you, but all this puppy growing business is absolutely exhausting to me.” She joked about, shifting so she could lounge about and ultimately doze off into the sweet alluring sensation of sleep. [/dohtml] RE: violent sons make bitter mothers - Saga - Sep 03, 2021 [dohtml] Everything was going to be okay, for her and Rhae, for Huddy, for the pack. They would pull together, they would raise their children, and they would thrive regardless of what hurdles the future held for them. The Gods would see to it that they overcome, and if not them, then Saga would see to it herself. After all, there was no turning back now, not with the little lives growing inside of her. Maybe she was a bit excited for what the future held. Nervous still, of course, but excited too. At Rhaegara's mention of a nap, Saga yawned. "Yes, definitely after a nap." Taking her companion's que, the woman allowed herself to drift off to sleep, peacefully for the first time since her scent had changed. (fade) [/dohtml] |
