RE: Glad You Came - Nina - Jan 27, 2013

His words barely registered to the golden female’s mind and she felt as though water was starting to well up in her eye. Koda…he was not okay, he could remember….he couldn’t remember her. The fact that things were turning in the bad direction caused Nina’s heart beat to speed up. She couldn’t think anymore, she was so confused. When Shade departed, she simply sat there, not noticing that she had moved towards the creek, her head bowing so that she could look at her reflection in the flooded but calm water. Her good eye was filled with a hollow pain…the one that only Koda could fill. She knew now that he wouldn’t be able to fill that spot, especially if he wouldn’t remember her. If he was never find, most of her current dreams would be ruined.

She closed her one eye with a sigh, unsure of what she could do now, she took her front paw and dragged a claw though her reflection, watching the ripple of her reflection in the water. She looked much better when she couldn’t see herself with an ugly reflection. Her ears flattened across her head, allowing her to divulge in her own self pity for a few short moment, before she shook herself and started back towards the thickets. Nina needed Sloane more then ever right now.
