RE: How wrong can this go? - Charlotte - May 27, 2013

(Ugh, I keep forgetting her natural stutter.)

Sherry spent a moment starring at her maw, a little shocked at her words but more so that she didn't stutter. Quietly and a bit absent minded she mumbled," M-m-m-my lord-d" Before she came back to earth and looked at him. At his words her ears laid back and a hurt expression came to her face, " If-f it's-s the s-s-s-stutter your-r speak-king-g of I-I can't-t h-help it, sir-r." she said in a soft quite spoken voice.

Her ears perked forward at the apology and she felt a strange feeling she wasn't use to and crocked her head, " I-I've-e h-had wo-worse-e."she replied slowly while weakly trying to stand starting with her hind legs. It was true though, her parents were to consumed with her healthier siblings all the time to notice the bruises and gashes. Then again she did spend little time around them, even if her uncle abused her he did take better care of her then anyone else.

RE: How wrong can this go? - Ash - Jun 05, 2013

Now that the yearling was speaking in a normal tone of voice, Ash could understand her much easier, even with her nervous stutter. Shaking his head with her words, he tried to crack a small smile, "Not what I meant, miss. I’m talking about your extremely high pitched voice that you were using." Flicking his tail behind him, he listened carefully as to what she had to say about his apology. Instantly, his eyebrows creased in concern, not exactly pleased with her answer. Such a young girl should not have had much worse happen to her in her life…it reminded him of…Nina. Clenching his jaw shut, he tilted his head slightly, feeling a sweet offer arising within his heart.

Clearing his throat, he made his voice clear and even, "I’m sorry to hear that…if you would like; I could escort you to your next destination."He nodded his head at her, at ease now that they had gotten everything out of the way. It would be no big deal for him to bring her where she needed to be, for he was usually a fast traveler if his companion cooperated. Though, if he did accompany the girl on her trip, he just hoped that she wouldn’t talk so much. It was not the stutter that bothered him…that was her thing… It was just more of talking I general. Ash loathed when others spoke…it meant that then he would have to partake in conversation that he did not wish to have. Perhaps if everyone in the world were silent, then this would not be a problem.

If wolf could of blushed, her cheeks surely would have been brilliant bright shade of strawberry red, "O-oh, that-t....H-hehe, nervous-ous h-habit." She said giving him a toothy pearly white sheepish smile. She looked to him now standing at her short full height, fiery orange eyes holding a forgiving gleam. A small wag of her sleek long tail was given to him before she grew tense, every muscle bunching up at his offer. "U-um, no-o thanks-anks, I-I'm n-not into-to tra-avling with oth-others." She said uneasily to the much larger wolf and told herself, *Your fine now, he shouldn't try to further damage you." She hadn't know then what she'd know soon how much she did need him on this trip, he could have helped the young girl greatly.

Dipping her head slightly she bid him a fare well, "Good-d by-bye, sir" She said and pealed her eyes from his handsome mossy green ones. She started her rough travel a head sorely, she was now ready to accept Narime's offer. Ash had made a big impact on her life other then a future scar; if she had never met him she probably would have chosen simply not to go back to the kind generous women. This meeting had molded her some what in a good way and she'd have the scar to remember the male who sent her on this path. Maybe it was quite peculiar but fate sure is strange. The shadowy colored wolf disappeared on the horizon on her way to a new family. The tree line soon hid her from where she had been harmed.

It did not seem as though the yearling in front of him would want his help going down the mountain, to which Ash only shrugged. He was sure the girl would regret not taking up his offer later, for the mountains could be a cruel place if you did not know your place around well enough. He was quite sure that the girl was new to the lore and that she was not use to the climate here quite yet. None the less, Ash respected her decision and as she took her leave, he called out to her softly, "I really am sorry for hurting you. Please forgive me." He did not leave until she disappeared from the mountains and Ash turned on his heel to start back towards Poison Path.

However, he did stop for a moment, his green gaze going to the sky. It’s quite beautiful, isn’t it? Treena’s sweet voice cooed in my head softly as he looked up at the stars, as night had finally come to greet them. He stood there for what felt like hours, watching as the night grew darker and the stars shown brighter. Shaking his head then, he got up from his sitting position and stretched before starting back on his way back towards his home. He knew that Athena would probably either be looking for him or need something from him and he wanted to do anything he could to please his Lady. It was hard trying to look after a pregnant mother…they just tended to be too much of a bitch sometimes.
