RE: But the wind picked up - Capella - May 27, 2013 [dohtml] An affectionate smile spread across her face as the dark pair attempted her name. It would probably be a long while before they could pronounce it the way it was intended, but she didn't mind. After all, the syllables in her name were probably strange to the infants who could only know a few words. Answering the female's question with a simple nod, she offered up an alternative name. "You can call me Pella if you'd like." She hoped that the alias would be easier to say. Of course she didn't expect them to call her that. If it was easier they could come up with any combination of her name, and she would be happy.[/dohtml] RE: But the wind picked up - Karpos - May 27, 2013 [Karp is tired XD So Ima pull him out of the thread, carry on lovelies <3] [dohtml] Karp giggled a bit as Adsila scolded him, it had been her that had made the last mistake and he had corrected her. He followed up on Adsi’s pursuit and giggled again as he began to paw at the two ladies, as he was destined to be a player from the start {or at least he thought he would be}. After all, what fae could resist a brown and black puppy? No fae was the answer. "’Courskjes weh can fley, why elshde cansjdn’t weh leavjbe thed den? We’lleh falleh intso theh earthesis and die!" he said with a small nip to the black and brown blob that was his sister. Karpos was a stubborn little pup and refused to believe that wolves couldn't fly, he had his own retort back and everything, not even after Pella told him that they couldn’t fly. He asked another question. "I stillehs dun’t understnajdasfnds wbhyeh wesis can’tseh leanves thiousse." He giggled again, just because of how funny his sister was talking; about how these weird birdsies that da brought for ma could fly. If wolves couldn’t fly then birdsies couldn’t fly. He looked up at where Pella’s face would be and giggled, but he was too tired to play. He yawned and curled up, not even listening for an answer to his question for he knew he would not find it. Curiosity could and would tire out a pup. Karp quickly drifted into a calm sleep, a sudden sleep because he was just a tired out pup. Once upon a time, there was a small little up named Shade, him and his sister Shadowstorm were pretty cute little pups. Then there was a pup, far of in a distant kingdom named Rosealia. Soon those two wolfsies would fall in love and have two perfect pups named Karpos and Adsila. {exit} RE: But the wind picked up - Adsila - May 30, 2013 Okay! :) [dohtml] Adsila looked briefly back up at the white blob as she heard it speak again, this time saying that they could call her another name; Pella. Gazing into her face, she opened her little jaws to speak. "So, yooou ahreh Pella?" A smile graced the young princesses features as she said the nickname correctly. But before she could gloat about it, she felt something paw at her body, and turned around to face Karpos, who scorned her for saying that wolves couldn't fly. Adsila was about to reply to his words, but Capella beat her to it. She cocked her head as the female used all sorts of words that she didn't know, but she got the gist of it. "Yooou ahreh sahying that tha birdses haveh tha ahir and weev got tha growunde?" But her attention span wasn't very great and after a few seconds her denim blue gaze drifted towards her brother, who was lying on the floor curled up. Her fluffy brown ears heard him yawn, before his breathing slowed down into the calm breaths that she was accustomed to. She decided against pawing him to get up, and instead turned to face Capella again. The young princesses eyes caught her tail swaying back and forth tantalisingly. She creeped forward, before leaping at the blurry shape and landing squarely on top of it. Adsila bit at it with her jaws, and her small, sharp teeth that were starting to show lightly grazed the skin, not hard enough to damage, but enough to know that they would soon. Another giggle escaped from Adsila's maw as she let go of Capella's tail to let it sweep across the floor in the other direction; waiting for the chance to leap at it again. [/dohtml] RE: But the wind picked up - Capella - May 30, 2013 [dohtml] Answering the tiny fae, she felt a bout of pride. "Yes, Pella!" Adsila could say her nickname perfectly! Capella watched as Karpos pawed his sister. Something in his action caused a flashback of her own childhood to resonate throughout her mind. She could see her brother, her family. Happiness filled her for only a moment, before she touched back down to reality. Her heart felt empty, cold. She would never again feel her brother's paw connect with her. Never be able to hear his voice calling out for her. For the rest of her life, she could only hold onto him in her dreams, and memories that just weren't good enough. The creamy girl wondered where he was, and what he was doing at this very moment. Very briefly did she wonder if he too jumped in after her, only to be claimed by the river. With a deep breath, she pushed that one from her mind. Thinking like that would do her no good. It was better for her sanity, to think of him as still inhabiting the world of the living.[/dohtml] RE: But the wind picked up - Adsila - May 30, 2013 Do you want me to post after you Adsila falling asleep so we can wrap this thread up? [dohtml] Adsila looked up from Capella's tantalising tail and up to her face when she heard the female speak. A smile graced her features as she thought about the outside world. The young princess hadn't really thought about it much, it was mostly Karpos who complained about why they couldn't go out there. But it wasn't that she was repelled by the idea of going outside, she really did wanted to see what it was like out there. It was just that, what if there were scary monsters out there? Ones that liked to eat pups when the adults weren't watching them. The idea had formed in her brain when her eyes had opened, when she started seeing dark shapes around her. It was like they were circling around her, watching her every move, and waiting until she was alone before they would strike. The thought had haunted her ever since, and it still did now. But as the shapes slowly became more defined so that she could see a slight difference between the den walls and the wolves around her, it didn't seem so scary as it had been before. As the young princess felt fur brush against her lithe body, She snapped out of her daydream and looked back at Capella's furry tail. Just as she was about to pounce on it again, one of her back paws caught against Karpos' sleeping body, and she toppled to the ground; just inches away from the females' tail. Looking accusingly back at Karpos, she huffed as she staggered back to her feet. He was always in the way, even when he was sleeping. Turning to face the big white blob, Adsila looked up at where her face would be, waiting a few moments before speaking hesitantly. "If I gow owtsiede, will bigeh scarey monshters come owut and eateh meh?" Concern filled her face as she spoke about her deepest fear. Not even Karpos knew about it, but she felt like she could trust Capella know that the young princess knew she wasn't going to kidnap her. Adsila sat down on her haunches, still staring at Capella as she waited anxiously for her to speak. [/dohtml] RE: But the wind picked up - Capella - May 31, 2013 [dohtml] Sure! c: Capella had to stifle a giggle as Adsila stumbled over her brother. The little pair had yet to grow into their motor skills, but she was sure that one day they would. She tried to imagine what they would look like in a couple months. Surely they would already be close to their adult size by then. Would they have faced hardships by then? Hoping for the best, the creamy fae bent down so the pup could see her face a little better. "No, there aren't scary monsters out there, but it is dangerous to leave the den just yet. In about another week or so, you will be able to have your first peak outside." Her voice was full of excitement as she finished her last sentence. If she remembered correctly, her mother once told her that pups were allowed to leave the den at around three weeks, so long as they stayed very close to the entrance. She hoped to be there when they took their first steps into the light. That way she would be sure that the pair was safe.[/dohtml] RE: But the wind picked up - Adsila - May 31, 2013 Short :( [dohtml] Adsila felt relief wash throughout her body as Pella told her that no monsters were going to eat her if she went outside. And when she said that they would be able to go out to the outside world soon she let a grin appear on her face to show her excitement. Now that the young princess knew that there was no evil monsters waiting for her to go outside alone, she felt truly ecstatic about it. But even though she looked excited on the outside, she was very sleepy on the inside. All the playing and talking had tired her out, and now she just felt like a good nap. It also seemed that Pella did too, as Adsila had heard her yawn. Blinking her denim blue eyes, the young princess smiled at Pella before crawling over to Karpos, and cuddling up next to him. She put her neck on his shoulder, and tucked her front paws under her lithe body. A yawn escaped from her maw as she closed her eyes sleepily, and murmered a few lasts words before sleep came upon her. "Goodnieht Pella." [/dohtml] |
