RE: role model - Triell - Mar 03, 2014

All is lost again, but I'm not giving in

There was little else he felt needed to be said. Kisla could surely take care of herself, and spring would eventually come and they would sort that out. Aiyana they could try to remember was likely being well taken care of, living a life that wasn't tainted by her past. So Triell was more concerned how Fenru was coping, being the one who remained without escape. This little talk did not feel like much, Triell hoped it was a step in the right direction to help his nephew hold on to something, and realize he was not alone in his struggles. There was nothing worse than feeling the only soldier in a never ending battle.

The change over the serious moment, a smile coaxed to his muzzle, and he placed the somber thoughts of the past in the corners of his mind. The leader than gave a nod, understanding the young man's readiness. He had a few more things he needed to check on as well, and would like to do so before returning to the rest of the pack. Rising, his dark tail raising with slow waves, he momentarily thought if there was some word to pass on to Arlette, or a task Fenru should complete now. "Not that I can think of," he answered, letting Fenru take his leave. He watched him go, but he only wished he could have some how told him how proud he was of him, and how strong, how brave he really was to endure so much. That seemed to be a good excuse to talk with him again so Triell walked his own way through the woods.
