RE: A Breath of Life - Ashton - Jun 04, 2014

[dohtml]

The voices were muffled beneath a layer of soil and rock; So quiet he almost missed the familiar lilt that sent his stomach crashing into his throat. It was her, Catori. The strange girl who believed in tree spirits and walking lighter. The idiot who would run right up to a stranger, easily a head taller than herself, and challenge them in such a way that she could have left with a few scars. The very same fae who he had brought here, and if she died tonight, deep within the confines of the fallen den, it would be his fault. No. She couldn't die there. He wouldn't allow it.

Miccah gave him a command that somehow broke down the wall. Lost in his panic he hadn't even noticed the newest arrival. With that a renewed sense of awareness racked his body, and his paws ceased their desperate digging. He turned to the fae, Mossy orbs planting themselves on her pale form. Kite it was? It was clear that she had the answers, and the male was hanging on her every word. A strange thing for Ashton Hervok, who never thought before jumping into action. He was headstrong, seeing life as a paws first experience in every situation, but this time he couldn't. He had to wait, find out the correct way to go about this, because for once it wasn't just himself on the line. It was her's, and nothing else mattered; Could ever matter, except getting her out of there.

RE: A Breath of Life - Kite - Jun 05, 2014

The scene was chaotic, but when Miccah spoke it seemed to end. He moved beside her, following her lead (the thought briefly invigorating), and she looks to Anouke who moves across from them (I am assuming), pulling dirt from the other side. Good. Kite moves slowly but surely, muscles rippling through her furs as she exercised her ability to dig. It was one all wolves were brilliant at, but in this situation one had to dig properly. The other yearling is rapt and at attention, and Kite licks her chops, nodding to those around her. Inside were Catori, Rayne... it hardly processes, she is too immersed in what must be done.

Right, well, you stay there... she gestures to the dark yearling, and she nods to Anouke. You are in a good position. The earth here is pliable due to the weather... we can dig 'em out in no time. Erm, sir, she looks to the leader, Miccah, and continues even as she moves, Watch and make sure an equal amount of dirt is coming from either side. Help whatever side you see fit, if you think suddenly he is slowing down, or I am, move in. Save your strength... and to the yearling, she looks, And you... if you see any dirt rolling into that area, you pull it back. Some will naturally fall, just make sure it's not too much. We'll basically be making them an exit. To the wolves beneath, she comments to them, her voice loud, Move back. Do not come out until we say so. We need to open up a spot for you to come out of, but we also have to make sure that spot is stable. Kite nods to them, as if to say, go... although they had been in action the whole time. Already, some progress was made.
