Tokino was pleased by the loners words. His chest fur ruffled out a bit as Tokino bent his head a degree in approval. They truly did not seem like bad wolves to him, and with two separate packs to the west and south of his own; Tokino couldn't help but want to bolster the numbers in Black Thorn Downs. That way if there was ever an attack on his pack they might be able to get the children to safety with all the extra paws around.
That was another thing. He still had yet to mention to Minka about the idea of moving the pack for the next spring. Though the older male wondered just where they would move. He just didn't like the closeness of the packs, especially Secret Woodlands, so near to their own.
Slowly, Tokino began to strut around the pair his tail waving over his back as the male moved to mark the pair as his own. Flashing that banner out and rubbing his chin lightly over their backs, Tokino gave them entrance to the pack. His paw steps stop before Firefly as he gives the ginger woman a wicked grin that is not often seen on Kino's face. It was a grin that Kova often wore. Then the man turned to look over his new subordinates.
Welcome to Black Thorn Downs pack. My name is Tokino Lagina and I rule beside Minka Lagina who is currently busy. Feel free to roam around and get acquainted with everybody in the territory. An get something to eat too, you both look half starved. Tokino then turned to head back into the Downs while his tail flicked to the wolves in invitation. At some point he would tell them all the rules and how his pups were to be watched as they liked to wander. However right now the gray male would act as a tour guide of sorts.

Florence watched Tokino carefully as he waited for his verdict. Yes, both he and Vera could easily do other jobs for the pack. He had simply mentioned the two he had because that is what their skills had been used for before in packs or because they had been trained for a short time, like Florence with his healing.
He nodded alongside Vera as she answered the question on how long they were staying within the pack and rumbled out a small agreeable noise when she made the pledge that if they were accepted, their alliance would be with the pack those within it. The longer they stayed in a pack, the better. It meant hopefully more regular meals and better protection in then being out in the wild, with just the two of them.
It was not long before Tokino did make his decision and it was a spark of relief that made itself known in Florence’s heart. While Oak Tree Bend had been a good home, he had a feeling this pack could have the makings of a real family. “Thank you Tokino, we shall do all that we can and more for the pack.” He said gratefully after the male had marked them as part of his pack and told them they were free to roam and become acquainted with the others. His stomach rumbled at the mention of food. He was hungry and he was sure Vera was as well. Stepping into the pack lands, he waited for Vera before moving to follow after the man he would now call leader.

Firefly was relieved to hear Tokino's decision. She had done it! She had strengthened her pack and found a home for these two friends! She felt absolutely overwhelmed with pride, relief, and happiness. She even smirked when Tokino pointed out that the two former loners looked half starved. As Tokino turned to head back to the den Fly felt torn. Part of her wanted to head back with her alpha but part of her wanted to stay behind and help her new pack mates get acquainted with the land and find their way to the caches. But Fly still possessed the young and innocent heart of a yearling and this allowed her to shirk off the feeling of responsibility that would have driven her to help her new pack mates in favor of the desire to seek out her alpha's attention. Not wanting to be completely rude, the russet huntress spoke parting words to her two new friends, Congratulations, both of you. Im so happy to call you pack mates now. I know you'll love it here in the Downs!" Her voice was higher than usual, her pitch intensified by her excitement. Have fun exploring and if you need anything just let me know! Perhaps, we can go hunting together soon." Fly offered a cheerful smile and a happy flick of her tail in salutations before turning and skipping off after her alpha. She hoped that Tokino would be proud of her and if he was she hoped the man would voice it. (exit) "Speech" |

Vera was silent and still as the leader of her new pack gently rubbed his chin along her back, spreading the scent of Black Thorn Downs over her fur. They would be her new family, but for how long, she did not know. The Diminutive Ivory She-wolf hoped it would be for a long time as she was tired of constantly moving around with no place to call home, but that didn't mean she disliked exploring. It was just that she wished to settle down in one area for a while, see what it was like to have a true family. She quickly bounded after Florence when he turned back to wait for her, and together they followed Fly and Tokino past the borders and into Black Thorn Downs territory.
