RE: two for joy! - Elyan - Aug 02, 2017 [dohtml] The Magpies could still be heard loudly from not far away which only reminded the gray boy that they needed a lesson. With Hawthorne better they could get to that but they need to know what his father thought since it had been his idea. A smile appeared on the boys face when he heard the thump of Hawthorne's tail on the ground when he nudged her cheek which he took to mean she liked it. With the question of what they should do next he waited to see what his friend would say because she wasn't on who had been hurt, it should be her decision what they did. Keeping his eyes on her he didn't miss her yawn which made him yawn too and suddenly he realized he was getting tired from all the jumping and running and worrying about her and if she would be okay. He was surprised when she rolled on to her back right there and then declared that she wanted a nap. “Nap good,” he agreed with her as he curled up against her resting his head on her back. He glanced up at his father to see what he would do. “Burdses lesson later,” he spoke sleepily. They would teach those Burdses the lesson they deserved for hurting his friend later and since the would have had a nap it would be a much better lesson. Elyan was sure of that and he was sure his father felt the same because his dad always liked helping. Besides now that he was laying beside Hawthorne he was even more ready for a nap. He was sure the Burdses would be there later, they had been there all day already. [/dohtml]RE: two for joy! - Emrys - Aug 02, 2017 [dohtml] With the crisis past and Hawthorne feeling better Emrys was relieved that her injury wasn't much worse. He worried about her like he did Arwyn and Elyan, like she was his own. He'd been there when she was born and now he'd taken her under his wing. If he had anything to do with it she would not be like her mother and he planned to make sure that didn't happen. If he had to find a way to get rid of Sylva to make sure the Riverflow girl had a good life he would do what it took. He smiled as he watched the children together and waited to see what Hawthorne wanted to do now that she was better. He watched as she yawned and then his son and he could see what was coming. His suspicions were confirmed when Hawthorne suggested a nap and Elyan quickly took him up on it. Well the pale healer couldn't say no to that, “A nap sounds good,” he told them both and smiled as they spoke of the birds. “We will certainly teach them a lesson after we wake up.” The healer rose from where he'd been sitting and curled around his son and Hawthorne. He had the afternoon to himself so what better way to spend it than with his son and surrogate daughter. [/dohtml] |
