RE: Can't keep this from you - Avella - Jan 15, 2023 Avella wished that she could give more to Hagar than what she had. She knew that he deserved better than what she'd offered him after everything. In time she was sure that everything would become more clear and then she would have more answers for him. The ridge matriarch didn't notice the response of the chocolate man at her touch. "Thank you and the same goes for you too," she told ar his sentiment. Just because she wasn't sure about how she was feeling didn't mean she couldn't be there for him. They were still friends in her eyes. It felt like a long moment that the silence passed between them. She knew the conversation was over. That perhaps she should go rest for a bit. However, she wasn't quite ready to go. Then Hagar spoke stating he should get back to work. Avella nodded, "Thats all I needed to say. I should probably get going as well." RE: Can't keep this from you - Hagar - Jan 19, 2023 She didn't quite give the sense of finality he'd been seeking, and Hagar paused a moment to meet her bicolored gaze. There was something sad in his own mossy sights, but the emotion was not overwhelming. He felt confident that he would be alright. In time. A simple nod would have been plenty to let anyone else know of his departure, but for her he gave words. "Goodbye, Avella." With that, he would finally turn and head off in his own direction. He would spend the rest of the afternoon and most of the night hunting outside of the pack's territory, contending with his own thoughts. RE: Can't keep this from you - Avella - Jan 31, 2023 That was that she supposed. The conversation was over and somehow it left her feeling uneasy especially the way he said goodbye. She couldn't ever remember such a parting between them but maybe she was confused about that too. Like she was about so many other things these days. "Goodbye Hagar," she returned. Avella remained where she was for a moment after the chocolate man headed off. Then she turned as well and headed back for the dens. Rest might be the best thing for her right then. Fade |
