RE: Where hast thy dinner gone? - Danica - Sep 07, 2014 Cream ears perked to listen as Narimé spoke. Danica could feel her excitement wash away. "But I've been in a hunt before." She grumbled to her Alpha. Her expression showed just how clearly worthless she felt. However, she nodded. Despite her frustration she would listen to her elder in an unwilling manner. Though clearly annoyed Dani followed Kass as he set out. Emerald eyes danced about the herd, looking for their unlucky target. Before she knew it they were sprinting madly across the field. Her strides were long and powerful, proppeling her at a mighty speed. When the girl realized she was side by side with Kass, if not a little ahead, she slowed. The herd split apart from them and she watched with amazement shinning in her orbs. It had been too long since her last hunt. The adrline coursing through her limbs was overwhelming and hard to fight. She wanted to push herself harder. As they singled off a doe she forced herself to slow down some. The male she barely knew was quick to impress her. Dani took note of how he kept the doe from the trees, was careful, and nipped at her legs. She wanted to do that! Why couldn't she? Narimé was so mean! Blinded by her anger she failed to realize the women's true motive. When it was time for the second group to take over, Danica veered away. The wolf took time to slow to a stop. She panted hard, her sides heaving. What a thrill! When the yearling got a hold of herself she turned to watch. It was quite the show, seeing them all finish the hunt. She felt severely jealous though. Titan got to actually touch the prey! He was definitely doing more hunting then her. Quietly she snarled to herself. RE: Where hast thy dinner gone? - Athena - Oct 05, 2014 occ:Gosh I love Athena and Yuka(; Nudging Yuka sightly with her maw, she looked to him with a smile, "Don't worry, kid. You get used to it after a while, but don't let others bother you. They don't understand." She finished, hoping that her bit of encouragement and advice would help him. If not now, hopefully sometime he'll look back and realize that she was right. At Narime's signal, the healer, the Hervok yearling, and herself took off towards the herd to signal out a straggler. As they got closer to the herd, Athena had her sights on the older doe closest to them. It was then that the herd spooked and the chaos started. However, Kassander, Danca, and herself stuck close to the older deer until they were right on her heels. Nipping and biting at her legs, she was careful to back off often to protect herself from getting kicked. Glancing every now and then towards Kassander and Danica on the other side of the doe, she made sure they were keeping the doe a good distance away from the trees to keep that exit from the deer. Once Narime and Titan showed up to continue the chase, she split off with Kassander and Danica to catch her breath and watch the rest of the group finish the hunt. Keeping at a trot to somewhat keep up with action ahead of them, she looked back towards Kassander and Danica with a smile. "Great job both of you!" She then motioned for them to follow her towards where Yuka was finishing the doe off. A smile graced her lips as she saw Yuka take down the doe single handedly, but as she came up on the scene, he was taking off towards the trees. Frowning slightly, she almost went off towards him, not knowing what was the matter, but she stopped herself. He probably didn't want anyone to come after him, he wanted to be alone and she was going to respect that. Instead she went towards the kill and took the privilege of being ranked as second and dug in. RE: Where hast thy dinner gone? - Titan - Oct 09, 2014 -posts my exit- [dohtml] Titan was still catching his breath after the chase was finished. He had slowed to a stop beside Nari and the rest of his pack mates. Then the dark youth watched as congratulations were passed around. Though he couldn't see where Yuka the mighty had gone. Impressed by his brothers strength, Titan sought out Yuka's ghostly gray form. He spotted his brother underneath the trees away from the rest of the group while they began munching on the fresh kill. With a sigh, Titan decided to join his brother and watch the others from a distance. Not that anyone seemed to care, they all had their hungry eyes on the best dinner seat beside the carcass.
Knowing his brother and catching the dark mood radiating from him, Titan simply dipped his head in respect to Yuka's feat then took a seat beside him. His brother had been the one to finish off the deer, and he had made it look so easy. Titan almost wished he had been put in the third group to get a chance to try that.
Hoping his brother didn't mind his presence as long as he kept quiet and kept his eyes off of Yuka, Titan sighed while waiting for his turn at the carcass. He hoped some of the good parts would be left. Though he wondered if Yuka would continue to wait for his dinner until after he ate or if the lighter Thorben would eat with him. Titan wasn't entirely sure what he would do. So for now the brothers waited.
