RE: Magnolia Glen Pack Thread - Borlla - Jul 01, 2014 Partly Cloudy — 63° F/17° C; Mid-morning A slave to her instincts, Borlla was a dutiful mother when it came to keeping her children "locked up". The days after their birth, it was essential, of course, to do so. But in keeping them locked up, she had to do the same. She became dependant upon others to bring her food, water, and things of that nature. But in the end, Borlla always loved her freedom. Finally being able to put that cramped little den behind her and stretch her legs again...Well, there were few better feelings in the world. It was also a blessing to be able to see her children wander about, clearly enjoying their freedom as well. And yet she couldn't help but frown. She hadn't seen hide nor hair of @Hypatia in quite some time. The girl was old enough now to do as she wished, but Borlla had hoped that maybe she might've said goodbye before she struck out on her own. She didn't want to lose another child. With a slow sigh, she settled comfortably outside of the communal den, keeping an ear and eye out for her children. Freedom came at a heavy price though, for it seemed that she'd hardly taken a breath before remembering her responsibilities. She still needed to go and speak to Triell about what had happened at the hunt, and pray that everything might come back together again. She shuddered at the thought of what she'd done to her family again. But it seemed she was always a slave to her instincts. |
