He accepted her little speech and that caused a smile to warm her features. Any sadness or uneasiness was washed away. She watched as he even seemed a bit surprised by her show of affection. That small kiss on his cheek. There was nothing said, though, which let her settle into him more. She tried her best to keep the warmth between them and not let the snipping cold take it away. Her muddy eyes stayed trained on the starlit sky above. Her face made it obvious with small expressions that she was happy with how they shined tonight. Her eyes would grow heavy with time but she trusted that Lorcan would wake her if she fell asleep out here under the stars.
