A Little Lesson - Tagg - Jan 16, 2017 [dohtml] Word Count: Weather: Sunny, 24F/-5C Sunlight filtering through tree branches is what woke Tagg. He hummed as he stretched, enjoying the slight warmth on his back. While spring was still a little ways off, it was a relatively warm morning compared to what they’d had recently. He padded to the lake to break through the ice and get a quick drink before heading off to find something to do. He’d had a decent meal the night before and as such wasn’t particularly hungry. Maybe he’d hunt later, but right now he wanted to socialize. More than anything, the scarred wolf wanted to spend time with Moon. He hadn’t really seen her since their hunt a few days before, and he wanted to get to know her more. He headed towards the pack den, hoping she might be around there. He was thinking about moving to start sleeping with the rest of the pack; it was about time, after all. He’d been there long enough, and though he was still defensive he’d stopped going into full attack mode when his packmates startled him. He was making progress. Tagg let out a soft chuff as he approached the area most of the pack slept, not wanting to wake anyone that might still be sleeping but wanting to give them a warning of his approach. If she wasn’t here, Tagg would have to try to locate her or call out for her, something he wasn’t keen to do so early. He really hoped Moon would still be in the area. color=#6699ff]"Speech"[/color] [color=#33ccff]Thought RE: A Little Lesson - Moonshadow - Jan 16, 2017 [dohtml] OOC! I tried my best to do the whole dream parallel with the real world thing you see in movies so sorry if it sucks and is confusing Dx she pretty much sleep walking It had been a good while since nightmares plauged the dark woman's dreams. Having Namid regain her role was what had ceased the horrid things. Sleep came easily once again to Moonshadow and she welcomed the warm dreams that accompanied it. This morning she was in an especially pleasant dream. She was running through a meadow, the sun was shining, the cold no longer existed and she wasn't alone. The familiar form of the red veteran came into her view. He was with her! She jumped for joy and ran to him. She brushed herself against him burring her nose into him. He smelt so real so close...a quiet chuff pull the ebony woman just enough from her dream that it seemed as if she was awake. But in reality she still very much thought she was still dreaming. The chuff caused her to look up to see him standing away from so she went to him. She uncurled herself and gave her limbs a brief stretch. Her eyes were still closed as she exited the den. In her dream she saw her russet hero and gave him a smile. This smile actually formed on her maw as her nose lead her to the real Tagg. In the dream once she gets to him she greets him with kisses to his chin. She then runs the top of her body - from the top of her muzzle to her tail - all the way under his chin. Since Moon is actually sleep walking she greets the real Tagg this way unknowingly before curling back up into a ball at his feet and falling fast asleep once more. She has no idea what she had just done and when she wakes she'll have no memory of it. Re: - Spirit of Wildwood - Jan 16, 2017 There is a moose carcass that has been scavenged by coyotes nearby. +15 Health RE: A Little Lesson - Tagg - Jan 16, 2017 Oh this is too good! Poor Tagg is going to be so confused xD
[dohtml] Word Count: 199 Tagg had barely approached the den when the form of the woman he was seeking slipped out. He opened his mouth to greet her, but stopped in surprise when she licked his chin and then nuzzled up under his chin, trailing her whole body along his throat. Warmth spread through his body, and a strange tingling started in the tips of his toes. What was that for? He wondered, feeling slightly light-headed. Before he could ask, however, the dark woman curled up at his feet and continued – continued? – snoozing. With a stab of disappointment the scarred man realized she must have been sleep walking. The feeling came with a consolation, though: she’s dreaming about me! A stupid little grin decorated his face as he stared down at her sleeping form for a moment before he realized what he was doing and shook himself. “Moon?” He nudged her with his nose, trying to wake her. “Hey Moon, wake up.” He jabbed her side with his paw. He idly wondered if she would remember her dream and the way he greeted her. He off-handedly ran his tongue over the top of her head, hoping that might help rouse her from sleep. "Speech" Thought RE: A Little Lesson - Moonshadow - Jan 17, 2017 [dohtml] OOC! Sorry bout the shortness I swear it meets the min Her dream was a pleasant one causing a smile to remain on her face. She didnt want it to ever end but the cold from sleepwalking out side began to seep into the warmth of her dream she tightly clung to the sleep until a familiar voice coaxed her out. She felt his prodding and lick to her crown. A low hum vibrated her throat as she slowly opened her silver eyes. She was outside and - and curled up next to Tagg. Her cheeks grew warm as she shyed her gaze away from him. "Oh good morning" she said as she got up. A large yawn escaped her maw causing her salmon tounge to curl inside her mouth. She looked sleepily at the russet man. If it weren't for the snow she'd think that she was still dreaming. After a moment or so it dawned on her that she woke up outside. Confusion swept over her features as she tried to figure out how'd she got there. Looking back up at his green eye she asked "Was I out here when you got here or..." She really hoped that she was and that what happened in her dream didnt actually transpire. RE: A Little Lesson - Tagg - Jan 17, 2017 Don't worry about it. Everyone has a short post soemtimes :)
[dohtml] Word Count: 225 It didn’t take long before Moon started to stir, though she was still blinking sleep from her eyes as she sat up and stretched. “Goodmorning.” He greeted as she yawned. He saw realization dawn on her face as she stared at him and asked if she’d already been outside. Tagg considered his words for a moment, wondering if it would be best to tell her the truth or not. What would it change? Would it make her feel weird around him? Would it make him feel weird around her? After only a few moments of deliberation, Tagg decided to respond with an action similar to her greeting: he pressed against her side, nuzzling his head under her neck. “Does it matter?” He hummed. This way they would be even, and she would know he didn’t mind. He hoped her feelings didn’t change during her waking hours and his action was a mistake. Fearing rejection, Tagg changed the subject. “Did you still want to learn that pounce, or are you too sleepy?” He teased, bumping her and bouncing away. He turned and dropped into a playful bow, tail wagging in the air as his tongue lolled from his mouth. The sleepiness had already all but disappeared from the scarred wolf’s mind, and he hoped his lady wouldn’t be too far behind. He wanted to do something! "Speech" Thought RE: A Little Lesson - Moonshadow - Jan 17, 2017 [dohtml] OOC! Out of character comments here Her fear of her dream being reality stemed from fear of being rejected and disliked. Her stomach did gymnastics while she watched him debate with himself. What could he be debating?!? She frantically wondered. If he had taken any longer to answer she would have exploded from the anticipation. Finally he spoke "Does it matter?" Yes it matters! Why in the - her thoughts were cut short as he moved towards her and ran the length of his body under her muzzle. Just as she had him in her dream...well not just her dream apparently. Her cheeks grew really hot this time but from his pleased hum she got the que that it hadnt bothered him. It couldn't right? Not if he's doing the same thing. "I guess it doesn't if you're ok with it" she replied with a hum of her own. Her tail swept the ground beneath her at a steady pace as her tummy became filled with a tickling sensation once more. Silver eyes watched as his rusty for moved away silently wishing he'd come back. Her attention was adverted as he began to bounce around asking if she wanted to learn how to pounce on an animal. She laughed at his silliness and when he dipped into a play bow she jumped up and did the same. Her silver tipped banner waved excitedly in the air. "Im not too sleepy. I'm ready for anything" she giggled before sticking her tounge out between her small teeth at him. She pulled the salon appendage back into her mouth and gave him a mischievous grin. "The question is are you?" She asked light heartedly her brows raising at him. Before he had the chance to answer she pounced at him having her paws land right in front of his. She looked at him for a moment before turning tail and running hoping he'd get the idea and come after her. RE: A Little Lesson - Tagg - Jan 17, 2017 Can we name this ship yet? O.O Also for the tackle if you want Moon to get out of his grip I'm totally down for that I left it open for that reason :)
[dohtml] Word Count: 258 For a moment Tagg was worried his playfulness wouldn’t be reciprocated, but his fears were quickly dispelled when jumped up to mimic his motion, sticking her tongue out at him. His ears twitched back in mock offense, but he chuckled – it was definitely not a giggle he told himself – when she claimed she wasn’t too sleepy. “What do y-” His words were cut off as she pounced at him, landing mere inches from his face. He startled, leaping backwards. If he hadn’t already been in a playful mood he might have attacked her; as it was, his heart was pounding and he could feel the fur on his shoulders beginning to lift as his body fell into its old habits of defense. He breathed heavily, frightened that at another moment in time he might have accidentally hurt her. Before he could recover, however, she was bounding away. He smiled and quickly followed, forcing his anxiety away. He would likely dwell on it later, but for now he just wanted to enjoy her company. He hadn’t hurt Moon; all was well. He never wanted to lash out at her in aggression, regardless of whether or not it was reflex. There would never be an excuse. As he neared her, the scarred man leapt forward, reaching for her back feet with his paws, thinking to trip her up. He missed, but quickly recovered his step, this time speeding his step so he came up beside her. He jumped sideways, tackling her and scrambling to pin her in a rapid tussle. "Speech" Thought RE: A Little Lesson - Moonshadow - Jan 18, 2017 [dohtml] OOC! I had them land separate if that's ok and had her land scars up in case he hasn't noticed them yet XD The possibility that Tagg could potentially attack her never once crossed the ebony females mind. She trusted him with her entire being. Maybe that was her being naïve or not worldly or the simple fact that she thought he'd never ever hurt her. So she pouched at him landing mere inches from his face. A light hearted laugh left her maw as he jumped away from her. Not giving him the time to react she darted away from him in to the forest. Moon looked back to make sure he was following and when he finally caught on she let out a quiet squeal of excitement and sped up. It didnt take long for the russet male to catch up with her. She could hear him right behind her as they ran. Not wanting to run into a tree or boulder Moon kept her eyes forward but her ears back to listen to her company. Since his attempt to swipe at her back feet had failed she was unaware of the action. It wasn't until she felt his weight on her back did she realize he was trying to take her down. His weight and momentum threw her off balance and the duo tumbled down into the snow. A surprised yelp left her law as they started to tumble and ended with her giggling perfusely. They finally came to a stop in the snow and the dark woman laid on her left side in the snow while her special friend landed about a wolf length away. She lifted her large skull out of the snow and gave it a shake to dislodge the white powder from her ears. "What was that for?" She laughed watching him with her gleaming moon colored orbs. RE: A Little Lesson - Tagg - Jan 18, 2017 Aww that's cute! Also idk if you've checked the slack recently but most of them ship these two already xD
[dohtml] Word Count: 229 His launch carrying him a bit farther than he wanted, Tagg knocked Moon over and the two of them skidded a short distance, both scrambling. He ended up on his right side, blind eye facing the sky and limiting his vision. Despite his sudden vulnerability, the scarred man started laughing as they came to a halt. He barely heard the dark woman’s question, and it took him a minute to be able to stop laughing long enough to answer. He lifted his head, eye sparkling with mischief. “Payback.” He growled playfully, hauling himself to his feet and shaking out his fur. As he walked over to her to make sure she was unhurt, he noticed three pale scars along her side. How had he not seen those before? Knowing what it was like to have such things stared at, Tagg quickly returned his eyes to hers, staring up at him and twinkling like starlight. He wanted to ask, but she had been reluctant to discuss her past with him before and he didn’t want to pry. He would bring it up later. Dropping his head low to the ground and waving his back end high in the air, Tagg pawed gently at his lady friend, messing up the fur on the top of her head. “You going to laze about all day?” He smirked, tail flipping back and forth.
