you need the pain now just to feel anything - Kisla - Mar 05, 2017 Private for @Lachesis . Set after this thread, though keeping details vague as uncertain of what will happen. It would be safe to say she would smell lightly of OTB/Ice though. :) LOL @ the potential awkwardness of this entire thread.
Also, RE! Kisla, a pile of snow falls upon you. [dohtml] [/dohtml] RE: you need the pain now just to feel anything - Lachesis - Mar 07, 2017 @Kisla <3 [dohtml] It was difficult to keep track of the Hearthwood females as they passed over the borders, the arrival of spring keeping them on their toes. Lachesis gave them as much space as they needed, staying out of their way and allowing them to come and go as they pleased. When they were outside the borders, he was inside and vice versa. They wandering paws wasn’t necessarily a bad thing, as it was possible that they could return with potential recruits. So, Lachesis kept himself occupied. If he wasn’t keeping a watchful eye on the blue-eyed sparrow, who appeared to be just as confused about spring as he was, XIX was busy collecting herbs. He did not know if Hearthwood would have a litter this year but he wanted to be prepared with the appropriate plants. With the arrival of warm weather the snow was beginning to melt from the trees, often falling off in clumps, which made maneuvering through Kingsfall hazardous. It appeared that Kisla had experienced that firsthand. XIX had come across her trail unexpectedly and realized that it was too late to try to avoid it. While her scent lingered, heavily, in the area, it took a moment for the alabaster healer to find his co-lead. Snow dusted her tawny fur and she lay, looking defeated. He couldn’t stop the grin from rolling onto his dark lips, his head falling to the right as he studied her for a moment. “Looks comfortable,” he chuckled, his apple-green eyes shining with amusement. [dohtml] He had only meant to laugh once, a small chuckle to be dismissed by an offer to help the snow-covered agouti. The offer, however, never made it to the tip of his tongue for it got drowned out by another bout of laughter. He was quick to silence, his expression quickly shifting to a look of concern. She wore the same defeated look that the Stark often wore himself. They were both in similar situations, for they had both lost wolves close to them. It was because of their fierce loyalty and devotion to Hearthwood that they persevered, despite the gaping holes in their chest where the wolves they lost used to be. With a cooked grin rolling effortlessly onto his pale features the Stark flopped down onto the snow, an exasperated sigh breaking his stoic features. “And mine,” he responded as his forelegs stretched out in front of him, his toes wiggling in the snow to make himself more comfortable. Lachesis had been purposely trying to avoid the women of Hearthwood, yet for some reason he kept stumbling upon them… first Lekalta, then Lilya, and now Kisla. He knew there was no way of avoiding the raven Baranski, either, for they were always crossing paths. The thought alone was exhausting; perhaps this unexpected encounter with his co-lead would diffuse his thoughts. He could do without pack talk for one day. Sometimes it was nice forgetting who he was and the responsibilities he wore. |
