RE: come out, come out, wherever you are... - Solas - Sep 22, 2017

It seemed that Solas had stumbled onto someone who knew their craft and knew it well because every word that seemed to fall from Zev's lips brought forth knowledge that Solas had never heard before and things he had never thought about. The fire that he knew scorched and burned leaving nothing behind unless dealt with swiftly and the damage it dealt could be lethal. Zev tipped his jaw up and Solas could see the unnatural blackness to it. So Zev had known the risks it would bring yet he still praised its uses assuming he was telling the truth. Is it really worth the risk though? Solas couldn't help back ask as he sat back to watch the other male.

Solas fell silent thinking on his the new information that had been given to him as he watched Zev pace around gathering sticks. He had no idea what the other wolf was trying to do and it gave him time to digest the knowledge. Fire that wasn't bad. Stones that could eat and help to get rid of fleas. Rocks that could create fire. He felt a little blindsided because what else was out there that he hadn't thought about? Hadn't learned? And how many wolves were aware of this knowledge to begin with?

I haven't come across any in this area. I don't know it very well though. Solas responded returning his focus to Zev who on to say that springs were more useful. Did he really want to know why? How are they better He nodded at the rock and if you're trying to get that rock somewhere why don't you just break it into chunks and carry it there? Maybe there was a reason to keep it whole...

RE: come out, come out, wherever you are... - Zev - Oct 05, 2017

{ooc}sorry I am having writers block, perhaps we could have them travel and look for hot springs or end this and thread some other time... up to you.[/b]

Zev cocked his head, the questions this males was asking were strange, of course it was worth the risk, everything was worth the risk, living was worth the risk diving was worth the risk. Fire is easy enough to control, He stated plainly, Zev did not care wether he lived or died he not not care if he was hurt or injured; he was not a normal wolf, not by a long shot, it was why he was so good at what he did, he got it done in spite of the consequences.

Zev's brow's knit together, it was weird to him this wolf did not know what was common knowledge to him, but then this wolf was asking many questions, was he a blank slate the he could use the wolf for his own devices, a grin spread upon his maw and he licked it away before answering Hot water is good for healing easing your muscles, it also makes paste much more readily and tea's to make tinctures, if there are hot springs then I need not deal with the fire.... other then to dry my herbs before winter comes.

When Solas offered his advice on transports the rock Zev looked at the rock then at Solas then back to the rock puzzled.... it made sense the break the rock up but he needed it.... he needed to have it breaking the rock up though it made sense Zev just could not wrap his mind around it, he stared long and hard at the rock with a frown before walking away to gather more sticks still confused as to transporting it. when he returned with another stick he looked to the rock with annoyance and turned his back to it he did not respond to Solas' last advice he would leave the rock and return for it eventually.

Solas could tell that Zev wasn't impressed with the question he had asked simply stating that fire, something that the stormy male regarded as dangerous, was easy to control. If that were the case then what about the places he had seen that fire had ravaged turning everything in its path into a wasteland? Had the fire not been controlled then? Solas simply soaked this information in trying to work it out in his mind. There was the thought that maybe where Zev was from it was something commonly used but in most areas, it wasn't. He wasn't a healer though this Zev was creating an interest in the stormy male about it.

Still thinking he didn't see the confusion on his companions face until he spoke to answer his other question. Solas saw the grin but simply figured that Zev was happy to have someone who he could talk to about his craft. But of course, the words that did come made the stormy male feel like he had been oblivious to a lot of things. Water that could help muscles? He didn't know anything about tea or tinctures but he knew that after some hard hunts his own muscles had been sore for awhile. That was some information that he knew he would use in the future.

While Solas figured that breaking the rock up would be easier the frown on Zev's face let him know that the idea wasn't a good one. The stormy male knew that he probably didn't appreciate the rock as much as a healer would but if it was just going to lay there then what good was it doing anyway? Glancing towards the sky he noted that some time had passed. He looked back at Zev's searching form again. Shrugging he decided that he would help the other male until it got dark.

After that, they would part ways. So Solas stood up and went off to find some sticks to help with moving the white rock.
