Teddy Bear's Picnic - Bear - Apr 13, 2012 [dohtml]
”Achoo!”
Birds fled their nests as the sneeze echoed across the glade. With spring now in full bloom, the green grass was littered with a rainbow of flowers, hues of all imaginable colours stretched across the floor. The trees that lined the glade were bustling with life, or had been until they were interrupted by the sound of a wolf sneezing.
[/dohtml] Teddy Bear's Picnic - Remy - Apr 14, 2012 Only the kindest of wolves would've described Remy's descent through the Thicket of Secrets that day as 'walking'. Less nice could say she was 'stalking', and those honest would simply say she was crashing through the blossoming life with no remorse. She stomped through the irriguous vegetation, kicking over flowers and throwing herself through the branches and bushes that stood in her path. And the cause for all this great anger was... drum roll please, nothing! The sun had risen her early in the day. She'd drank her fill, ate some rabbit, and then sunbathed for freakin' hours. Remy was so bored her pale green eyeballs were about to roll out of her sockets, and thanks to her terrible personality that utter apathy was translated into a weird, wired rage. Her movements were jerky and almost overdone, each large leg smacking down on the earth while her neck stuck out stiffly as she scowled at everything. The utter decimation of whatever she could with her big ass was somewhat satisfying, but there was still pent up aggression beneath the surface. Upcoming in the thicket was a large, clustered line of trees. With a growl that was more lion than wolf she pushed through two trunks, rough bark scratching her white sides. The glade was unbelievably beautiful. Anyone should've stopped and gasped and appreciated the flourishing colors - it was like walking on a freakin rainbow. Poor Remy, of course, had none of these thoughts. She only reared forward and continued to trundle on all that was lovely in this world, feeling a selfish gain whenever she stomped the pretty petasls into mulch. A few yards in to crashing the party, Remy should've came across the large male. She should've seen him and gotten excited for a sparr, since Mother nature did not grow 'em that big without a good temper like her's. She should've. But instead of spotting the giant brown wolf as he lazed in the colorful field, Remy straight tripped right over him. With all the force she had been parading around with, her momentum was strong enough to throw her over his exposed belly and right on to her face. Her head planted quite firmly in the ground and her fluffy body followed, soaring over the large creature in an arc until it flopped down into the pretty flowers she had been destroying just moments before. The only sign of life was the twitch of her red ear, admitting defeat to karma, while she pulled together the willpower to lift her face from the dirt. Teddy Bear's Picnic - Bear - Apr 14, 2012 Sorry its so short! :c [dohtml]
That sun felt so good on his belly. It warmed every inch of him and with the bouncy grass beneath him he was completely and utterly comfortable. He even considered just laying here all day, doing nothing but sleeping in the sun. It sounded like a great plan... until he felt something barge into his side and go flying over the top of him. Instantly his honey eyes opened, a Oof! escaped his lips before he quickly rolled onto his belly, rear in the air... waiting for an attack.
It was only when he was in this position that he looked to the side and noticed a silver female face planting the floor. It looks pretty painful. He wasn’t really sure what had just happened. All he knew was that the sun vanished suddenly before he was bashed in the side and a fluffy body fell across him. Curiously, he remained in his crouched pose but tilted his head curiously in her direction. He wasn’t sure if she was hurt or not, but he didn’t want to provoke her; she might not be friendly after all.
”Erm... You okay?” he asked, his words slow, cautious as if he didn’t really want to say them and draw attention to himself, but he felt as if he should be concerned. She might be a stranger, but if she was hurt she might need his help. He was always trying to be the hero, whether he knew you or not. It was just in his nature to care and one day, he hoped he would find friends and family who would let him do just that. Teddy Bear's Picnic - Remy - Apr 16, 2012 Aside from the scent of wolf she was completely unaware of the company she had literally stumbled across - even then it was hard to smell him with her black nose pushed in to the dirt. Remy's legs were tensed as though she were preparing to pull herself together, but she refrained, mostly because she was unwilling to accept the embarrassment that had befallen her. She was still clinging to the great deal of pride she held, unwilling to admit defeat to the misfortune of circumstance. It wasn't until his voice met her red ears that Remy even shifted, rousing herself and pulling her head out of the flowers. There was a little red one sticking to her nose and another pale blue one adorning her ear. A quick sneeze took care of her decorations and some of the dirt lodged in her nose. Still slightly disoriented, she looked her shoulder to the gargantuan male that had caused her literal downfall. It took her a moment to remember he had asked her something. Remy blinked slow, keeping an otherwise idle stare on the bear-like wolf. God, her head hurt. What the hell was she even doing right now? Oh yeah. "Define okay," Remy attempted to quip as a joke, though her rough voice came out more as a snap. The brilliant colors of the wildflowers were irritating her now, pale green eyes scrunching shut. She barely noticed if her tone was skewed, though, still focused on the pounding in her head. With one wide white paw she started to rub the dark spot on her forehead, both to soothe the ache and to remove the dirt that was browning her light fur. "My head fuckin' hurts," she complained, opening one eye to look at the big male. Her face was almost expectant, as if she had asked him a question or something, but truly her thoughts were just jumbled and she was more confused than ever. Heaving a huge sigh, she flopped back on to her stomach and laid her heavy head between her paws. Eyes closed she tilted her head in his direction and grumbled, "What'd you say your name was again?" completely oblivious that he hadn't given a name at all. Goodness, it was like Remy had the stupid knocked in to her. |
