RE: The Perfect Placement - Kieth - Jun 15, 2013

Sorry. Been sick lately, no muse.

Kieth's ears were pricked as he waited for his Silver Queen to speak, to confirm his choice to be a teacher to her pups; teach them all they needed to know about the world, and maybe a bit more. His pale grey gaze travelled around, latching on to each of his pack mates for only a second, before moving onto the next. A voice broke the grey male out of his thoughts, and he shifted his gaze to the darker male. A smile crossed his features as Anglo spoke. He could sense that the darker male would be good at being a guardian. Broad shoulders, toned muscles, the need to protect his family. It was all there. After all, what was a guardian without the desire to protect his family and loved ones?

When Anglo turned his amber gaze to meet Kieth's, the grey male could see a look of determination on his face. He knew that the darker male wanted to become a guardian, and he respected his choice. The Whisper Caverns pack would need a guardian, especially with pups on the way. His gaze shifted to Minka as she spoke. Yes, she seemed like a wolf that could lead a hunt. Strong legs, sharp mind, the desire to feed her family. The tawney fae would be perfect for her role, and he knew that she would provide for her family.

The moment his ears heard Narimé's voice, his head immediately turned to look upon her face. A grateful smile crossed his features as he took in his Silver Queen's words. He would teach her pups all there is to know about the outside world, the beauty and the dangers, and everything in between. When Kieth heard the stutter in her voice, a knowing smile tugged at the corners of his lips. Yes, he did know. Even though he would teach her pups, his Silver Queen and Sloane would teach them as well, making sure that they were prepared for the outside world.

During the rest of the meeting, Kieth kept silent. He didn't want to meddle with anything that didn't concern his welfare, though it probably did. The grey male looked at Narimé with pale grey eyes as she ended the meeting and lay down. She needed rest, and he would let her have it. Looking around at his pack mates, Kieth watched as Minka and Simaea left, and as Sloane lay down next to his Silver Queen. Giving a quick nod with his head towards Anglo, Kieth spoke briefly. "It was good to finally meet you, I hope we can catch up at a later date and possibly get to know each other more."

Walking over to his two leaders, Kieth bowed respectively and licked both of their chins before giving a smile and padding off towards the forest. He still felt tired from the past few days, and was desperate to catch up on some rest. The most likely choice was to go back to the same tree, and sleep for a few hours before attempting to catch more prey for the food cache. Stifling a yawn, Kieth padded deeper in the trees, until he came upon the same tree and lay down, closing his eyes. Hopefully, he could get at least a few hours of sleep before heading out again.
