But the wind picked up - Capella - May 22, 2013 @Karpos & @Adsila if she wants to join in! [dohtml] Capella made her way to the hollowed out tree, recently vacated by Rosealia. She had agreed on watching the pups to give her superior a little time for herself, but honestly Capella knew nothing of puppies. Never having come across one on her travels, the smell was entirely knew to her, though instinct told her what they were. Until this point she had only admired the squirming infants at a distance, hearing their yips and babble. She wasn't sure if they had even opened their eyes yet, let alone the coloration. All she really knew was their names. Karpos, and Adsila. One little prince and princess. Future of the pack already resting on their tiny shoulders.[/DOHTML] RE: But the wind picked up - Karpos - May 22, 2013 [dohtml] Karpos’ eyes gazed around the area, the familiar form and scents of his mother were no there, and in the place of them was someone else’s scent. He really didn’t like it; he let a howl out with his high-pitched voice in protest. The blurry form was somewhat foreign to him, he had scented this wolf before, and it was just that he didn’t like the scent. It smelled yucky, like yucky goo. He looked around for the blurry form of his sister, but he couldn’t find her in the confusion. There was no confusion in the den; it was just that the confusion in his mind led him to pass over her on accident. He stood up and attempted to walk around. He could barely see still, and he was still furious about it because it had hurt. This new female was making him scared even. SHE ATE HIS MOTHER! His brain already jumping to conclusions. He had noticed that when he tried to go outside the den, he was scolded by his mother to get back and he wanted out anyways. He would try over and over to find that there was always his mother’s voice chiding him. Now that this stranger was there, perhaps he could sneak out with no one looking, but the curiosity took over. “Whoooooororoor urrrrr you?” He wailed out, wishing his father was here. He almost wanted to call out to his sister Adsi but he decided he would if she chose to be a threat. After all, two puppies still confined to a birthing den could completely take on a full grown wolf. “FAAAEEEEERH MEH!!!” He said, his voice still heavily distorted as he had barely started to learn to talk. He wobbled and fell down. He squeaked out a yowl because he had a boo-boo on his leg. It was nothing serious though. RE: But the wind picked up - Capella - May 22, 2013 [dohtml] Capella's eyes widened at the pup as he let out a howl. Her fur bristled with irrational fear. She was certainly not sure what to do about the problem. Where was Shade when she needed him? She didn't know how to take care of puppies. Then the little male's voice echoed out, asking who she was. The tone was almost accusing, and she understood. These little ones didn't know her, or Ace. They only knew of their parents, and she was a stranger. "I am Capella." She said lightly, hoping her answer would satisfy him at least enough to make the rest of her duty go smoothly.[/dohtml] RE: But the wind picked up - Karpos - May 22, 2013 [dohtml] Karp looked at the female as she rushed to his aid, only offering a strange word when he asked who she was. She looked scared, maybe it was because his daddy would eat her when he found out she ate his mommy. “Whearer is meh ma?” He asked, unconcerned about his injury, he backed up from her and did not answer her question as to whether or not she was hurt. His tail was wagging, because this wolf person thing was trying to be his friend. He wanted to call out for Adsi, but again, he withheld it to see the blurry figure curled up so it appeared she was sleeping. “I aehm fiaehne.” He said, not realizing that his voice was completely off, like he couldn’t speak right. He stood up again, suddenly not as afraid, perhaps she didn’t have room to eat him after she had eaten his mother, who was a lot bigger then him. The pup was not listening to his voice; he was just listening to her. She seemed like she was nice, maybe she was his new mommy? A small little yelp when he sat on a rock, there was one thing that was for certain. He was accident prone just like his aunt. His mother was always fussing whenever he fell or stepped on something that made it hurt really badly. A small little whimper from his muzzle as he felt threatened again, but it was nothing. He just wanted his mother back, and if this wolfy didn’t cough his mother out then he could make her throw her up somehow. “Wehy daid yoeuh easht me ma?” He asked because he wanted to know; he didn’t want to get eaten too. The blob of a form in front of him was a lot bigger then he was. RE: But the wind picked up - Capella - May 22, 2013 [dohtml] His little words were muddled as he spoke, but she understood his question. Her voice stayed light, and she realized she might not be able to use such big sentences. "Your mom went outside." She smiled at the little boy who was just trying to understand where his mother is, and why a stranger has invaded his home. He backed up, and her heart dropped, as she hoped they were making progress. Another mess of words fell from his mouth, and she understood them a bit better. He was saying that he was fine, and that was enough information for her. Once again, she settled down, and re assumed her position by the den's entrance.[/dohtml] RE: But the wind picked up - Karpos - May 22, 2013 [dohtml] Karp had disbelief in his mind, it angered him a bit. It was outrageous that he could not go outside yet the one always scolding him for trying to get out of the small and confined den area. “Soe I caen’t goeh ouehsid beut me ma caehn?” He asked with his most angry voice, which just made him sound like his voice was higher pitched. He couldn’t believe that his mother had betrayed him in such ways; after all she had confined herself into the den as well. Then the realization came into his head, about why he had to wait to leave the den. There was no world outside the den, and he had to wait until his flight powers grew in until he could leave. He gave up trying to walk and let his butt fall on the ground, his eyes gazing directly into Capella’s as he began his questioning. He was bored and tired, he wanted to play. He then believed that Capella had told the truth when she stated she did not eat his mother, and he was starting to trust her, even though she was the one watching him. “Meh Kaerp.” He said, struggling to get his name out as he started to notice his weird speech through the pauses between him talking and her talking. He finally listened to himself, and too be honest, he was confused on how wolves could fly. “Wehereh did me ma goeh?” He asked, even though it was outside, he wanted to know why his mother hadn’t said anything yet. “Whey areh youehs here insteed?” He asked the female who had given a weird word in return. “Whaet is a Ca—peeeel—la?” He asked about the strange word. His next questions were going to be weird ones, so he waited for the female to answer. A small little growl, perhaps she would play with him! RE: But the wind picked up - Adsila - May 22, 2013 Sorry about the wait guys! Was at school. First post with Adsila<3 [dohtml] Adsila was sleeping comfortably next to her brother, but as a howl sounded her denim blue eyes shot open; looking almost frantically around the den. When she realized that it was Karpos who had howled, she grunted before curling back up and closing her eyes. She didn't feel like ambling around, and wanted to sleep for a bit more. The dark furred pup didn't scent Capella, and only when the female spoke did she know that a stranger was with them. Just as she uncurled herself from her sleeping position, her ears picked up Karpos' yowling and speech. Scowling slightly, she looked at her brother's blurry shape and sat on her haunches; observing what was going on around her. When the stranger spoke, she struggled to figure out what the word meant. Was it something important? But the brown pup had no time to dwell on it as Karpos spoke again, this time asking where their mother had gone. A frown pulled at the corner of her mouth as she stared at the blurry shape of the stranger. Where had her mother gone? There was the possibility that the female had taken her away, and was now going to take them away too. Concern filled her as the thought swam around in her mind. She didn't want to be taken away from the safety of her den. Panic started to shoot throughout her the more she thought about it. Why wasn't her dad here to save them from the stranger? Struggling to her paws, the brown pup clumsily made her way over to Karpos, almost falling down a few times. Standing next to her brother, she heard the last of his words, asking what the word Capella meant. But instead of thinking about what it did mean, she gave a hard nudge against his shoulder with her muzzle, almost knocking herself down from the force of her push. "Hoo is thaet shtraengar Kaerp?" Her voice was heavily distorted as she had barely learned to talk. Looking almost fearfully at the blurry stranger, she gave a soft whine and leaned against her brother. [/dohtml] RE: But the wind picked up - Capella - May 22, 2013 [dohtml] The tiny male's high pitched voice was comical as he questioned why his mother was able to leave. Capella had to stifle a giggle, so she wouldn't make him feel silly. Her voice was practically dripping with warmth as she tried to help the dark cub understand. "You will be able to go outside when your older." A smile crossed her lips as she thought how very much she sounded like her own mother. She had been a spirited pup, always too eager to grow up. Now she wished she had reveled in the benefits of being so young. "It's very nice to meet you Karp."[/dohtml] RE: But the wind picked up - Karpos - May 23, 2013 [Sorry for the wait <3] [dohtml] Karpos stumbled over to his sister, Adsi as she started to speak. “Dun’t worrileh, sheh diden’t eated ma!” He said, thinking that Adsi thought the same as he had, his icy blue eyes could barely see his sister, who would grow to be larger than him. "Shedfeh is a Ca—peeeeeel-la!" He said, he was trying so hard to say her name, but he couldn’t seem to get it out like it was supposed to be presented. His tail was wagging as the girl answered his questions and offered to play with them. He had played a game with his ma, but he couldn’t remember what it was that he played. His eyes were full of excitement, his speech was developing still and so it was still terrible. "Whateh willdeh weveee p-l-a-y." He said the last word carefully, trying to get the words out right; it seemed that she had a slower response to him. Although he could be not enunciating and need to speak more clearly. Karpos knew it was time to ask his awesome question, the one that would ask how he could get his awesome flying powers. "Wheats it likseeh to flyyy? Whenehen do I geteh to fly?" He asked the person who was going to play with him, amused with the fact his sister was so calm around her. He was bouncing with energy. He sat down again instead of moving away from his sister and towards the babysitter. He was nervous more than anything, because he wanted to leave, he wanted to explore. The blurry shapes, he hoped would clear up and become more defined. He didn’t like seeing blobs; they were extremely creepy to him. It seemed like they were stalking him. At least they didn’t eat his mother, after all one of them was his mother. RE: But the wind picked up - Adsila - May 24, 2013 [dohtml] The panic coursing through Adsila's veins slowly drained away as Capella spoke, although she couldn't under stand all of what the female was saying, mostly just key words that she already knew. The brown pup cocked her head slightly to the side as the female said her name was Capella. Now that she knew what the word meant, Adsila felt less threatened by the big, white blob that was Capella. "So yoou ahrr Ca--peeei--lah?" Even though she tried, the brown pup just couldn't enunciate the female's name properly. When Capella offered to play with them, Adsila couldn't help but smile and wag her short, fluffy tail. If her brother thought that she was a good wolf and wasn't going to kidnap them, then she wouldn't see her as a threat, and more like a friend or playmate. The brown pup couldn't help but giggle when Karpos asked when would he be able to fly. She turned to face him, and pawed at his muzzle with one of her front paws. "Silleyeh Kaerp! Yoouh cahn't flye. Ohnly thoseh birdses cahn flyy." Her denim blue gaze shifted back to the large white blob, and she took a few quick steps forward before stumbling and falling to her paws. The smallest of whines escaped from her maw as she sprawled over onto her side. The brown pup lay there for a few seconds before she rolled ovr onto her back and waved her paws in the air; giggling. Adsila stared up at the ceiling, but all she saw was blackness; no blurry shapes or anything. Just black. She rolled back over onto her paws and clambered to her feet, swaying slightly before she caught her balance by splaying her legs evenly beneath her body. She looked at the white blob and slowly made her way over to the female, where she plopped down at her paws, staring up at where Capella's face would be. She let out another giggle as she spotted the female's fluffy tail, and made as if to stalk it, before looking briefly back at her brother, as if asking if he would join her. [/dohtml] |
