RE: Isolation - Anouke - Sep 22, 2013 Saw that this thread was lonely <3 @Damien [dohtml] He had slept late, it was late morning now, and he was still lying on his side. Wasting daylight was what he was currently doing, but he had been up late the previous night due to….Hunting issues. It was hard for him to catch rabbits, hares or anything that was small and quick-footed. He had to go into the trees and chase birds around until he caught one –which took a few hours. It had been really messy with all of the feathers flying everywhere, but he had eaten, and wasn’t starving. But at the same time, he was still hungry enough to eat more, yet he just couldn’t bothered to try to catch a bird again. It was just very tiring for him, especially seeing as he was all brawn with no speed or stamina. Anouke ran his salmon pink tongue over his muzzle at the sight of a Lagoon. It meant freshwater, and he was practically dying of thirst. He ambled over to the edge of the Lagoon and lowered his head before drinking. The cool water soothed his dry throat, and when he was finished, he lifted up his head to stare at his handsome reflection. His coat was slightly ruffled in a few places, but other than that, his fur was complete perfection. The Young Hellion was so intent on drinking the water and making sure that his coat looked good, that he didn’t notice there was another wolf. In fact, that the wolf was swimming in the Lagoon, only meters away from himself. It was only when the Young Hellion looked up that he saw the mottled wolf (brown, tan and white) swimming next to a log, and resting his head on the wood before it moved away. Curious, he stood there silently, just watching the wolf swim. He seemed to be large, but that was only gauging from his head and shoulders. For all he knew, the male could be smaller than him. Waiting for a few moments, Anouke blinked once, then twice, before he gave a quick shake of his head. Standing up tall, he cocked his head to the left, bright amber eyes still studying the mottled wolf. The tip of his brown tail twitched to the side as he lifted up his right leg –which was all white- and flexed it calmly. Whenever he met a new wolf, he always did that, but why, he didn’t know. “Having a swim, are we?” His voice was deep and soft, yet also full of volume, like a bass guitar. He would attempt to extract valuable information from the wolf, and then use it against him. Oh, how he loved to meet new, unsuspecting wolves. I do it because I can, I can because I want to, I want to because you made me. [/dohtml] |
