Our previous storytelling contest inspired staff to add a more permanent storybook for RoW, located in the library HERE. It is safe to assume that any character born in game, or has spent three months or more in a pack would have heard these stories before. In order to add your story to the library you must have completed a thread where a character tells the tale to another wolf or wolves. Once the thread has been faded and archived please respond to this thread with the following:

For those of you who were not around for previous breeding seasons, we wanted to provide you with a template for what the pup adoptions usually look like. You are free to provide as much or as little information as you want - all that is officially required of you is the name, birth order, and sex. Below is an example of what a set of puppies adoption post looked like last year.

Note: You do not need to send the information to us in a template or formatted. Staff will take care of that to ensure it is uniform.

SECRET WOODLANDS: Aideen & Miccah

The new reign in Secret Woodlands is solidified by the birth of Miccah and Aideen's first litter, the beginning of the next chapter in one of Relic Lore's longest reigning packs. Within the tight knit family, the pups will be surrounded by loving 'uncles', 'aunts', 'cousins' and of course 'grandmother' Nina, and will have amble opportunity to explore and learn from these relations.

Family is an important word to both Aideen, Miccah and the rest of their pack, but how will they hold up to the challenge of raising their own? With three very different pups in a budding new family, the life of the Athesilas is sure to be turbulent and full of interesting confrontations. Only time will show if they can stick together despite their strife.

With his father's looks and his mother's gentle heart, Cináed is a sentry of the family, proudly championing his role as 'big' brother. Already from birth it will be clear that he takes after Miccah, large and pitch black, with eyes that never change much from their initial puppy-blue. As he grows he will develop a brawn like his fathers, though only careful training will allow him to surpass his strength. A quiet nature, he only speaks when needed, preferring to express himself through action and is usually easygoing, though he has inherited both his parents' stubbornness. He isn't aggressive by nature, but never shies away from a brawl with his middle sister; Or anyone else who might make a challenge. He's wary of strangers, feeling a strong protectiveness to his home and family, but if you convince him of your good intentions, he will make a loyal friend. Named after her grandmother, Flair is every bit as feisty as her namesake. With a fur even redder than her mothers, marked only by a few darker streaks and an, often dirty, creamy underbelly, her looks match her temper. She's loud and snarky, often talking without regard of others' feelings, and though she cares deeply for her family, she isn't so great at showing it. Her biggest joy is causing trouble, especially when she can involve her siblings, either dragging them into her ploys, or turning on them, instigating a brawl; Though she's quite the sore loser. Middle child Neutral to Chaotic Neutral Alignment Medium Physique (close to small) Rust red with darker accents and cream underbelly. Amber eyes Rowdy, Headstrong, Snarky, Hot-headed Images: 1, 2,3

ENIA.. The MEDIATOR.

"Nia" is the runt of the litter, though time will show if she manages to outgrow her sister in the end. She will have her mother's delicate build and a peculiar coat of black and dark grey, marked by white; The contrast particularly stark on her face. Her personality falls somewhere in the middle of her two litter mates, not as reserved as her brother, but much more soft-spoken and polite than her sister. She's a gentle soul with a big heart and a quick mind, always managing to find a way to reconcile her quarrelsome siblings, and she often acts as a mediator in their many fights. In larger groups she's quite shy, but with her family she never holds back, and she easily makes new friends. The only one who can get her angry is her sister, who somehow knows just which buttons to push. Wolf Statistics!

Yo if ya'll ever wondered what the coat color / eye color distribution really was on row, I just spent the last 20 minutes figuring it out for you xD I actually thought it would take longer. There is a small chance of human error in here as I might have lost track at one point. There are currently 113 wolves on row (Mapplethorpe still shows up for whatever reason).

Coats:
light: 14 or 12.4%
normal: 54 or 47.8%
dark: 45 or 39.8%

Eyes:
blue: 15 or 13.3%
green: 11 or 9.7%
silver: 6 or 5.3%
bi-colored: 6 or 5.3%
normal: 75 or 66.4%

Kinda surprised to see the black wolf numbers so close to the normal wolf numbers but, oh well, whatever xD
Definitely thought there were more white wolves on the site!

Any other statistics people would like to see? xD (% of wolf size? %of wolves with multiple "abnormal traits" like large black wolves with blue eyes?) Just ask!
