Snow crunch, it was rhymatic at first, as the youth walked along the lake’s edge. It slowly became more spaced, the silence broken up by soft growls as the large bulky silver dusted yearling slapped a broad forepaw into the snowy ground, sending a small shower of the dust upwards. It seemed angry at first, until the youth’s broad grin and wagging tail betrayed his playfulness. He had come out this way exploring, the sun rose high over the peaks, klight grey clouds covered the sky, breaking up the dull backdrop, a light sprinkle of fresh snow falling. This had been Daesamar’s prey, his ivory fangs stepping into the air with a loud click as he snatched up one of the stray flecks, feeling the wetness dampen his tongue before he turned toward the icy shore on his left.
Silver eyes narrowed as he looked on at the broad pool of water, he crept to the edge, looking at his dark reflection in the semi frozen water. Lips pulled back in a silent snarl as he tried to look intimated, which didn’t last long as he caught sight of his crooked ear, ht ruined the appearance and left the young wolf giggling softly to himself as he stretched his mouth open, letting his tongue hang out the side as he tilted his head slightly to the side. He couldn’t help it, the quiet giggle turned into laughter as he held the pose, looking at how ridiculous he looked in the mirrored image.
