He tried to think of it all, given the burden of responsibility that clung to his shoulders and weighed upon his spine. It was difficult however, he was clearly nothing like Phineas and lacking the spark of leadership. However, trying counted, didn't it? After all, this was only temporary. He need only survive, not necessarily thrive in the position. But what did that entail, even?
Medicine and the needs of a properly-structured infirmary were often far from his mind, however as he witnessed the morning's frost shining in the thin strips of moonlight allowed by the clouds overhead, it registered within him that the occupation of herbalist was not filled. Did this mean their cache of herbal supplies would be lacking? Moved to recover what could still be saved from the dropping temperatures, Erebos figured that this task was as good as any for the morning.
As he traipsed across the territory, he thought to call upon Takis, a staccato howl sent out to summon the boy to him. Hopefully he wouldn't be slumbering. Phineas' only surviving son, he had been just as neglected as his nieces. Hopefully with this busy work of gathering Erebos could begin to remedy the situation and bond with the boy a bit.
