Pharika had finished a patrol for the time being, deciding it was time to rest. Her
large paws carry her along the mountain, nearing an outcrop on the edge of the lake. Between her jaws
she carries a goat's leg; she had come across the carcass on her travels. Having torn off the limb, she
decided it would be a rather nice addition to the food cache back at the den site. The dark woman became
leery on her way back toward the lake, for a mountain lion could spot her with the tantalizing food and
decide to take it for itself. After all, having stolen food from a lynx, that would be just her luck. Karma
in cat form.
Coming to a slow, Pharika lowers her head downward, gingerly leaning the leg up against the slate-gray outcrop.
With a huff, she leaps atop of the rock, circling in place a few times before settling. She lay, content, her brass
gaze now looking over the still body of water before her. She hadn't taken the time before to appreciate the
landscape. It was rather alluring, such a large body of water on top of a mountain. The surrounding pines and
firs remained green in hue whilst the trees below were changing color. Overlooking the lands was like looking
at a stretch of fire. The marvelous shades of yellows, oranges, and reds were a spectacle to behold.
Pharika yawns, her jaws parting wide to expose her ivory toned fangs. Tongue stretches before retracting back
into her mouth. Lowering her head, she settles it upon her white-flecked paws. Her eyelids flutter before closing.
It was nice to take a break once in awhile. The mountains had certainly been working her; her muscle tone had
increased noticeably.
