RE: Migrating geese are making quite the racket

She's coming down the side of the mountain, her large figure as graceful as it could be.
Pharika's massive paws stir up dirt and pebbles as she slides downward, her red-brown eyes staring forward
and slightly downward as she descends. The pads of her paws begin to burn; relief is seconds away. Soon she
lands on a thin layer of snow with a grunt, her ears pressing against her head as the cold of the snow cools
her pads. It was time for another break from the mountains. She wouldn't be gone for long, especially knowing
that these lands were close to another pack's. It was neutral territory, at least. Her last expedition in this area
led her to a wolf named Craw- it wasn't an encounter she fancied, really. Leaving those thoughts behind, the
black and white woman starts forth, her chilled nose pointing downward to the ground as to scent for prey.
Her tail twitches as a sudden choir of honking rings through the air.

With eyes narrowing, her head whips upward, and she sees through the maze of naked branches something
rather interesting. A large flock of geese, flying in their V-formation, are approaching from a distance. They
were so damn loud, it felt as if they were constantly above her. Lips twitching, her ivory fangs bare in
annoyance. "Shut the hell up" she hisses in her mind, closing her eyes momentarily as the honking only
grows louder. She turns on heel, whipping up the thin layer of virgin snow beneath her. She was on the move.

Prey should be around, or at least signs of it. Word had reached her as to her pack's recent failed attempt
of taking a caribou due to Athena's poor timing. Pharika hadn't been there for the whole ordeal; she was glad
she wasn't. It sounded like a shit show. In silence the large woman carries herself with a steady gait, her senses
keen as the quiet of the snow envelopes her.
